My name is Jessica. I was surprised when I incidentally saw the last comment to Dr. Yu's office. I myself was Dr. Yu's patient and my boy, one and half year old Nathan is his patient now. I can't believe that comment is true, as if that person who made comment somehow works for Dr. Yu, since she knows so much details. I haven't been in Dr. Yu's office for a while, since my boy hasn't been sick and his two year check up is next month. Just for my curosity, I called Dr. Yu's office to find out what's happening, as I feel unfair to him if this is not true. They were shocked when I told them what I saw on the internet and whey looked at it. Most of the staff were new to me now, but I can tell that they were angry. They told me that it most likely, if not hundred percent was done by the girl who was a part time college student, worked there not even one month, since the posting date was the date she was fired. It has been over seven years with Dr. Yu since I was his patient. With my two generations' experience, I just don't believe she said about Dr. Yu' staff is true, even though most of his staff are now new. I have never had problem with thire attitude, charges and payments, no matter when I had medicaid or have private insurance now. I would advice people/the girl (if you are the one fired) be honest and ethical, even if you are not happy working with some one or being fired. You are still young. Venting your anger in such a way wouldn't benefit yourself at all. Dr. Yu 's reputation and trust on his staff wouldn't be affected by those kind made-up comment.

This is by far the most horrible office I have ever visited. The reception staff is the most unprofessional. There is a woman at the front who yells at patient s parents and insults them. She is very loud and rude to everyone, including her employees. I have only been there 4 times and each time I ve heard different things from her and different charges. She charges African American people more than Asian people. She is very racist and makes rude remarks in attempt to whisper them. I heard her say that the blacks are so mean and stinky . Her phone etiquette is absolutely horrid. She yells and tell people NO all the time or demands things from other doctor s offices in a very rude manner. Dr. Yu s is one of the most amazing doctors I have ever visited, and his nurse,I believe her name is Norma, is the sweetest and always apologizes for the front lady s behavior. Everyone at the front has such a horrible attitude that I could not go there anymore even though I would love my child to see Dr. Yu. I have had several problems with her with my insurance also. She doesn t know how to verify insurance properly and demanded that I pay $80 for a visit(which I did because the money isn t the issue) when my insurance clearly has written on it that it is a health fund plan and that I am not to be charged for anything until that health fund is reached, and even then I m not suppose to get charged, my insurance bills me after she sends in her billing. She argued with me that it didn t show up on the website, then when she pulled it up again it magically appeared, and even after that she still wanted to charge me because she didn t know how much money was left on the health fund, again if any of you have a health fund you know that if that health fund runs out your insurance bills you. So I payed anyway because I needed my child to be seen. After getting proof from the insurance I went back into the office and she started blaming the situation on another employee and yelling. This office is insanely unprofessional and I would strongly suggest that you do not go to this office. You re better off going to another pediatrician. I have attempted to write a review on their yahoo page but it kept getting deleted. Also, people who work at the office and the office manager's daughter is the one who writes all the good reviews on their page.
