The move to Mdvip left all the patients that Cooperman had collected over the years in limbo. Despite incorrect diagnoses over the years and misrepresentations, I tried again. High priced with little or no results for the patient. Friendliness is not a substitute for adequate medical care.

Close to 1000 patients, many elderly and long term,
and not as wealthy as I am, were "tossed to the wind"
by doctor with only a few months prior notice when he
changed his practice to MDVIP healthcare elite "concierge"
last year. If you want the privilege of having him as your
pimary care doctor, you have to agree to pay him
$1600 annually just to use his services. All payments
for my actual medical procedures are still charged to
my health insurance policies. When he goes on his many
vacations now, I still have to go to his backup
doctors none of whom are MDVIP affiliated.
If my health improves a bit more, I plan to change
to another doctor who may care more about people than
his pocketbook.
