finding happiness in the will of God in my life... or for yourself in your own life

All XYZ Anonymous recovery groups attest that reliance on a 'higher power' is essential to success. This is as true for

unhappiness recovery

Recall today's date. What year is it. 2011 now. Two thousand eleven years ago from WHICH EVENT in history?

the birth of Christ Jesus

that must be significant to have our calendars revolve around it!

Our nation, this united states of America, was founded Under God

we as a nation rely on God for our success and freedom for it is from God that freedom is sourced.. as the foundation for the pursuit of happiness

Contratheists would have the super majority silence their expression of love for the creator to appease their minority. Our constitution is freedom OF religion and not freedom from religion.

Only you can choose for yourself. This is the dignity God shares of himself with us.

Choose happiness with God, through his Son, Jesus, around whom our concept of worldly time, freedom, and justice revolve

Begin with a request of Jesus:

I want you in my life, Jesus

Call upon him by name in prayerful confidence to begin your journey towards eternal happiness

It's as if it wont ever get here, or when it does, it goes away just as fast.....

I really need to work on this. I have sever self issues as well as issues with my husband and daughters and of course financial. The extended family is diminishing, but I sometimes revert back to thought of the past and how painful it was. I really need to work on these things. I am seeking help for this.

The image of happiness is a distant echo in my soul that seems to eludes to reach me to find its direction. The hunger to be happy, however, dealing with the child abuse that made me to turn to Meth in order to escape the pain inflicted by my adoptive parents is the portrait of my life. In addition, the mental health that wounded me from such treatment has only crippled my mental state of mind seeking for happiness that is there, but drowns me in dispear. Seeing my son born gave me the happiness only to vanish due to falling to emotions thats been created within my mind......My true happiness would mean my life out this world...

I love helping others and putting a smile on someone's face. I bake things for my husband to take to work because I enjoy it. I help other's, smile and greet people, be nice and compliment people around me and people who help me when I am out and about. Helping other's make's me happy. I most definately believe in smiling and laughing can make for a better day.

Happiness comes from living fulfilled and purposeful lives. This can be done through discovering your life purpose and then getting established on a path towards living the life of your dreams. When you are doing what you love, living the life you've always wanted, happiness follows!

Life needs nothing to occur accept that which is occurring. The universe needs nothing to occur accept that which is occurring. We may have imagined something else needs to occur but this would be false. We have only believed it to be true.

What we believe produces experience and when we experience our existence only through what we believe, we may have inadvertently imagined uncertainty, which in turn has created fear. When we fully understand this, we begin to understand our inner domain and our whole reality begins to change. We start to realize that our happiness is not created as a result of certain conditions. Certain conditions are created as a result of our happiness. Just as love in our life is not created as a result of certain conditions. Certain conditions are created as a result of our love.

Because we may not have understood this before, we may have only imagined certain things must occur in order for us to be happy.

It isn't like a lightbulb that is either on, or off. It is the little moments through out the day, when I remember (and choose) to be happy.

It isn't that I'm never sad. Sure, I get sad.. but it is also about being at peace with the sadness and moving through, remembering: This too will pass.

Will I ever have "happiness" checked off? Probably not. It is a constant practice.. one that I'm pretty happy (and content) in.

My favorite happiness quote?

by Groucho Marx: "I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it."

For a while now, I've been unhappy, depressed and confused. I've been in an 8 year relationship and we have a child together. I feel like I'm only staying with my boyfriend to keep us as a family but everytime I think about breaking things off I get feelings of guilt...I have no idea why! I guess I feel like I'm abandoning my family and giving up just like that. But I want to be happy again. I want to be worry free, content with my life and everyone in it. What do I do?
