Dr. Sapienza and the staff at LIVS are wonderful. They have always taken great care of my rabbit who has had eye issues all her life. My recent experience was no exception. After a thorough examination, Dr. Sapienza took the time to explain the procedure as well as the cost. The staff are compassionate, professional people who clearly love working with animals. I highly recommend this hospital.

The staff were friendly and the doctor was on time. I had all my questions and concerns answered. The facility was clean but the exam room was a bit tight and stuffy. Overall my experience was a positive one.

Excellent kind courteous service to us and our Akita Kalani and helped us even with coming and going outside and inside the building because of our puppies dog aggression issues. It is never anything but a positive experience when visiting Long Island Veterinary Specialists in Plainview. Always treated with courtesy, respect and professionalism from the front desk check in through being asked into a consult room and then meeting with the veterinarians and professional staff caring for my cat “Hal”. Dr. Marino has gone out of his way to make sure that my animals needs are taken care of from assessment to bloodwork to diagnosis. His staff is accommodating, pleasant and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this animal hospital and 24 hour critical care center for the health and wellness of your pet.

Love LIVS, clean and professional, Penni is my first shih tzu age 8 had her from 12 weeks who cut her cornea and it was not good it had ruptured after 6 weeks of medical medicine treatment. I was so upset! After an emergency visit to AMC In the city. The emergency Dr. recommend I see Dr. Sapienza the next day I had no time to play. It was crucial or she could loose her eye. She had surgery and it is healing nicely. Will give a follow up soon

Though we only use LIVS as an emergency provider, today we decided that they will be our everyday vets as well. The care they take from the moment you walk in the door until your pet is cured is outstanding.
