I took my dog to Dr. Selmer for acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine to treat a spinal injury. Dr. Selmer & staff are very knowledgeable and explained everything very well. I recommend them and the procedures they use.

My dog needed an ultrasound so I was recommended by my vet to take him to Long Island vet for an outpatient ultrasound. I opted to do the walking and used the ER services to have the results right away, otherwise I’d have to wait the next day. We were immediately recommended lab work and hospitalization before ultrasound was performed, which turned out to be not necessary. I’m glad I did not accept them. I also received 4 calls to make the payment when my dog was still doing the test. I just feel that there’s significant emphasis on financial gain. In other words “ it seems to be a money making business “ I thought they were pushing tests Prematurely, which were quite expensive and as stated earlier not necessary.

I have boarded my dog Baci at LIVS MANY times and I have only wonderful things to say about the care and attention he receives each and every time he is there. Everyone pays so much attention to him that it makes the transition of leaving him there so much easier for me. THANK YOU for your amazing, professional, caring staff!!!!

We brought our dog with tooth pain and told 2 hour wait for an evaluation. 2hours became 5 and a half. Then another hour for them to tell me to come back the following day. Contrary to most reviews we were vaguely informed about why things were delaying so long and watching staff come in an out of the back. Chatting, playing on phones, with no information or even a concern to address how long we are left sitting there. My dog was taken care of well but we definitely overpaid for services he received.
