I am part of a church group that visits many Richmond nursing home communities. Parham is by far our favorite place to visit! The staff truly care about their residents and guests. Our group always feels welcomed and appreciated, as the entire staff are genuinely dedicated to providing their patients not only superior healthcare but the highest quality of life. I believe this is what sets them so far above the many other nursing facilities we visit in the area. I will always recommend Parham Health and Rehab to anyone needing skilled nursing or long term care for themselves or loved one!

July of 2014 I had to make a decision where my 91 year old father woul need to go for rehab, after being released from HDH/Forest. Parham Healthcare was one of the rehabs that was recommended. I did some research on-line & liked what I read.
My father has been there 16 months & now calls it home. After a few months of rehab Dad needed more nursing care & he became a permanent resident. He loves the staff & his favorite nurses/CNA 's & calls them his second family. My family has grown to care about each one that cares for him.
Dad's happiness is the most important thing . I would highly recommend Parham to anyone searching for rehab or your loved ones new "home".

As a patient here, my experience was more than wonderful. I’ve never seen people that don’t know me care so much about making me comfortable in the situation I was in, and pushing me to make myself get better. The nurses and CNAs were great! I cannot express my gratitude enough to them.

The therapy staff were wonderful as well. They knew exactly what I needed to get better and while I was skeptical at first, I became a believer. I really liked the map they used. Rehab Lifeworks.

I was equally impressed with how members of management came out and visited with patients. Bridge Builders is a wonderful program that I wish other locations would embrace.

Overall, I give my experience this facility top marks! While I hope I never find myself in a situation to need their assistance again, if it ever happens, I know where I will be going. Thank you again everyone there that helped me. You are truly appreciated!

At 82, my right knee replacement was the first surgery I had that required rehabilitation therapy and so this was a new experience for me.

Missy Douglas, director of admissions, put in a great room and made me feel right at home.

The complete staff, from administrator Aaron Roop and all of the therapists, nurses aides, kitchen staff and maintenance personnel were very supportive.

My family also was grateful for the care I received and felt welcome when they visited me.

I was very pleased with my stay and should I ever need rehabilitation again, I will not hesitate to return.

I was left alone for a while, but it wasn't too long

No. I still haven't talked to them.

Not at all! They were happy to address every concern I had

Not at all. They saw me but didn't greet me at all

This facility is very unprofessional. They tell you one thing and then do the completely the opposite. They do not return phone calls - putting you off to avoid talking to family members.. I would never recommend this facility to anyone.. Not very clean and smells of urine.
