Less than one star if I could....I had my sister in this facility for "rehab". What a joke! She was weak and bedridden though she might have been able to be assisted to a chair, which was never done. She infurred a bedsore which was never cared for. She had respiratory issues and did not receive pulmonary rehab. I think they consider oxygen "rehab". She was left hanging out of the bed for 2 hours barely hanging on. She had a colostomy which leaked and she had to lay in her feces for over an hour. Her room had to have been an old storage room, no curtains, no pictures, bland gray, and not the cleanest. I spoke with the director of nursing about this and nothing was ever done. She was at the end of a hall and was easily ignored. Her food was brought in cold and never warmed. She needed an assist to eat due to neuropathy in her hands, and did not always get it. My sister became progressively worse and had to be hospitalized which probably saved her life. Sadly she died at the hospital sometime later.
This place would make an "just okay" dog pound.

I recently had a hip replacement and stayed at Siena Woods for three days for rehab. . I arrived on a Friday night at 5;30 pm. I requested pain medication at 7:00 pm. I did not get any pain medication. until 3;00 am the following morning, this was a process that would continue until I checked myself out on Monday Morning.. They let a machine beep for an hour and a half. ( in a patients room) I opened my door and went out into the hall and asked what the alarm was? One of the workers replied. Thats for us. I said thats for you? Then I slammed the door and went back in my room Then the nurse went in the patients room and took care of the machine. It was a struggle anytime pain medication was needed/ They would short you or just not give it to you. When I left they gave me my medicine that had been ordered for me to take home. But they kept 60 pain pill. When I called my doctor to request a perscription. He informed me that he had just given me one 3 days ago for ninety pills/ I caled them and started getting the run around. I was told several different lies. I was told they were faxing the perscription to my pharmacy. three hours later I was told they were having it delivered to me. None of these things happened. I have filed a complaint with the Ohio Dept of Health. they have a serious problem with not giving you the pain medicine you were perscribed
I am 65 years old and luckily could leave I can only imagine How other long term patients ther must suffer4. I would not put an animal in there. let alone a loved one..

Not satisfied with my grandparent being in this facility. Low on staff, elderly sleeping in their feceis, no nursing supervision, stealing , losing and breaking of partials. This facility needs to be checked by the state with an in expected visit . The turn over of the decease needs to questioned. If you don't check on your loved one here they do not care.

Still hurt and upset about the treatment of my father. Also some of his personal items were lost or stolen; did they care? Absolutely not. DO NOT take your loved one there.

Mercy Sienna Woods claims to have an Alzheimer's unit but in actuality it is a room full of about 20 residents confined to their wheelchairs (even if they have the ability to walk) with about 2 Nursing Assistants. When they fall into issues with a resident being combative they pump them full of Ativan, and leave them confined to an Ottoman. Some residents have to wait hours for bathroom breaks, and they aren't encouraged to eat so they may easily become malnourished. They are SEVERELY understaffed, and in my opinion not suitable to care for people who suffer from Dementia, Alzheimer's, or other degenerative disorders of the mind. My aunt ultimately died due to the lack of care she received at this facility. They were uncaring, and extremely hard to speak to about issues. When my aunt was transferred to a hospital elsewhere the charge nurse told us she wouldn't tell us where she had been sent to. Poor care, out of date/unsanitary facilities, and horrendously understaffed. Why anyone would willingly put a family member there is beyond me. If I had a say in where my aunt had gone it would most definitely would have been a different facility.

My aunt was held here and experienced severe abuse and neglect because of the staff here. She was a patient with dementia, and they would place her in a corner and forget about her. They never fed her and when we last saw her she had the appearance of someone suffering from severe anorexia. I'm fairly certain that the other reviews here are false, probably made up BY the people who run the place. The staff is rude and unhelpful, and I wouldn't trust them with anything. My aunt was found on the floor unconscious and not breathing, but who knows how long she was laying there. She was in the ICU for a week with pneumonia along with several other maladies, she had to have a ventilator to keep herself going. She died just a week ago.
Please PLEASE don't listen to these shining responses, they don't sound anything like the actual nursing home. Don't put your loved ones here unless you want them dead from neglect and abuse.

I love that I can count on them to work with me until they find a solution for my situation. Other places I've visited, seem to give up after they don't have an answer for me the first time, but not here. Their office was the absolute perfect temperature. It was so nice to be able to get out of the weather outside and sit in a relaxing, comfortable office. They are so kind and caring, and they stay open way past their closing time to help anyone who needs them. They wouldn't deny anyone that needed help. I know I can always count on them. They were so kind and attentive to me. I didn't have to worry about them arguing with me, or contradicting what I had to say, which has been a problem for me at other places. They have a very good professional reputation. I know that I'm under the care of an expert.
