Almost bled out in her office due to her rough exam in her office during a miscarriage. Tried to send me home, but I insisted on getting D and C that day. Was wheeled to OR from her office. She is an uncaring, poor excuse for a human being. The receptionist begged me to make a medical complaint to protect others, which I did.

This doctor is all about money! From a medical stand point she is thorough. But at one visit I waited in her waiting room for more than an hour then when the receptionist said she was running behind and it would probably be AT LEAST 30 more minutes I asked to reschedule. I rescheduled for the very next day and when I showed up the next day I was asked why I cancelled without giving 48 hours notice? Their office policy is to charge $25 for cancellations made without 48 hour notice. I told her I have kids and she had me waiting more than an hour! She waved the fee that time, but the next time I hade an insurance issue and had to reschedule last minute she jumped to charge me $25! She is money hungry and obviously can't see that people have lives and things come up that don't allow for 48 hours notice. I don't have $25 to spare, if you are a doctor who takes Medicaid patients perhaps you shouldn't rape your patients of their last dime, at least I rescheduled, I didn't cancel or no show. I will NEVER go back to her!

About 18 years ago I chose Rochelle Catus as my doctor because I wanted to have a female physician. I was experiencing symptoms of menopause and the male doctor I had been seeing kept telling me that I was not having pre-menopausal issues. I was very pleased with Dr. Catus and even referred my friends to her. Over time, my friends and their friends and daughters told me that they were leaving Dr. Catus because of the very things I hated about her office. I chose to hang on and give her the benefit of the doubt. I experienced many occasions where I had to wait an excessive amount of time before I saw her. There were a few times I was seen by the nurse practitioner and I expressed my desire to only be seen by Dr. Catus. My satisfaction level started to decrease over the years due to poor administrative procedures, long wait times,( regardless of when I made my appointment) and the fact that I finally saw how she and her office treat patients when they determine that you owe them money. Dr. Catus prescribed 50,000 mg of vitamin D for me and I ran out and needed a refill. When I called to ask for a refill I was told that I needed to make an appointment. Then I was told that I had an outstanding bill, which no one ever told me about and the receptionist confirmed that I hadn't received a notice. The last straw was when I was told that Dr. Catus would not see me unless I paid my bill. I felt that my health was being compromised because they refused to have Dr. Catus call me or help me get a refill unless I paid the bill. I found out through my insurance that Sharon, office manager, had submitted the claim incorrectly to the insurance company. I spoke to my insurance company and was told that they were waiting for Sharon to resubmit the claim. I decided to pay the bill, which was a small amount that could have been paid all at once. However, I chose to pay it incrementally. The icing on the cake and to prove how inefficient her office manager is, a few weeks after I decided to pay the invoice, I received an email telling me to disregard an earlier email referring to me missing an appointment that I didn't make. I responded by telling them to make sure I didn't have any more appointments on their roster because I would not be returning. If I had listened to my friends and not my heart, I would have left this doctor many years ago. This is obviously a money hungry office.

Very unprofessional doctor and staff. She only wants money. Her receptionist didnt cancel an appointment of mines and she charged me 100.00. I tried to talk to her that day, (a scheduled appointment), call her, and email her. She refused to respond and charged me another 100.00 for not being seen the day I asked to speak with her. She is ridiculous. Any doctor who cannot communicate with patients should not be practicing. Not talking to me was cold!!! I will never see her again!
