Me then my younger sister saw Patrick through our 20's. Nicest guy. Our Dad is strict and sweet but nuts, raised us alone, insular. When he found out I got suicidal only at that moment found a therapist for us. Pat helped the family more than he knows. Saved me. His office was the only place we were free to talk about stuff and think about life and ask about sex, pot, skaters, kids all around us in the city who we didn't get, only allowed school then get back home. Great man. Dad still goes.

Patrick Labella is a gifted therapist! My daughter began seeing him when she was in college, after having experienced a trauma, from which we thought would carry life long debilitating scars. She is now 26 years old, thriving professionally and personally. She continues to see Patrick weekly. I am certain that without his sensitivity, intelligence, and his gift to be with her emotionally, that she wouldn't be the happy thriving woman she is today. I am a happy mother to have had Patrick Labella in my daughter's life.

Patrick is currently my therapist and has been for several years. I cannot recommend him highly enough. When I first came to him, I was at a really low point in my life. I honestly didn't know if anything could help me get to a better place. But going to Patrick once a week changed my life. I was able to see patterns patterns of behavior that were holding me backā€”and change them. He is always kind, insightful, professional, and sometimes hilarious. I am deeply grateful to have found him.

Patrick counseled me effectively from age 12 to 24, through the perilous early teens right through to early adulthood after college, when I first set out to start my career. With alcoholic parents I had no idea the depth of neuroses I was facing, and how this had led to sleeping problems as a kid and later to emotional disfunction as an adult. Many of my relationships suffered, or never developed, as a result, but eventually I had a breakthrough after I started college. I miss seeing Patrick on a regular basis.

Patrick labella was my therapist when I was 13-15. He sexually harassed me and would buy my cigarettes. When he knew he was going to be caught out soon, he convinced my parents I was emotionally desterbed and had them send me away. Patrick labella is a bad person who used his power against a young girl. AVOID! This type of person is dangerous and should be stripped of his ability to practice psychology.

I was ecstatic with the way my appointment went. I felt like for the first time, I found someone that could help me make real progress. They always go above and beyond to help me with anything I need. They never complain about anything, and I know I can always count on them. It was very easy to get an appointment. They have a very flexible schedule and get me in quickly every time. They went out of their way to make me feel special and respected, and were very sympathetic to my situation. I've never seen more kindness and empathy anywhere else. I've been to one or two places that had a really bad smell. I was worried I would encounter it here too but I didn't notice anything. I highly recommend Patrick LaBella. In my opinion he is the most talented psychoanalyst currently working in NYC, who is up to the challenge of difficult clients such as myself. I feel empowered by him rather than dependent, and this is totally different from my past experiences with other analysts. For the first time in my life (I'm 37, female) i feel hopeful about my life and about my ability to navigate my way through it. I attribute this shift to my work with Patrick LaBella. He saved my life.
