Colonoscopies are, by definition, not fun. But , from the first consultation to the actual procedure, Dr. Shapiro and his staff put me at ease and made the experience as painless [physically and mentally] as possible. Dr. Shapiro was kind, professional and worked with me in regard to my schedule. His staff was also excellent-- from the front office to the nurses, everyone I encountered answered my questions and provided me with whatever I needed.

I simply went for a consult prior to scheduling a colonoscopy. There was no treatment to rate. The staff and Dr. Shapiro were efficient and polite. I would be happy to offer more information AFTER my procedure.

Procedure started behind schedule, but within acceptable limits. Dr. Shapiro was competent and asked if I had any questions before starting procedure. I would recommend this clinic to others for colonoscopies.

This was about as good of an experience as you can expect for having a colposcopy. Dr. Shapiro and his staff worked in a quick and kind manner. I felt safe and well taken care of before, during, and after the procedures.

As part of my periodic physical exam I had to have a colonoscopy. Dr. Shapiro was very good at explaining the procedure and potential complications. His staff did a great job of working with my insurance company to find out what was covered and what was my responsibility. As well as explaining the preparations I had to take for the procedure. During the procedure, everything from the time I checked in until I was discharge ran on time and smoothly. I would highly recommend Dr. Shapiro and his staff for any gastroenterology needs or procedures.
