I had an ugly car accident and was referred to Dr. Vasko by my PCP. Dr. Vasko is very nice and completely made me understand what is going on with my injury. I highly recommend his clinic. No big waiting time and the staff is super friendly. Sylvi Chandler

I've been to many Chiropractors in my lifetime. Dr. Vasko has a natural gift as a practitioner of chiropractic, & is by far the best I've ever been to. I so wish he still practiced in NJ.

I took my son to see this chiropractor because they are close to where we live and he came up on a google search. Should have done my homework. He did adjust the vertebrae in my sons neck. What got me was them trying to get me back for a "half hour appointment where we talk about the xrays, the problems with your sons back and payment option" I thought "well he already went over xrays with me and told me what the problem was. If my son needs further treatment why dont they just make and appointment for that?" I was called several times to lock in this special appointment. For the initial appointment I gave the lady my Presbyterian card, she made a copy, was charged $50 for the visit and $25 for xrays. When I asked if my insurance would cover anything she said whatever they did cover, I would get reimbursed for. Come to find out Dr John Vasko is not in the Presbyterian network but lady knowingly made a copy and didn't say anything.

Although they wouldn't give me specifics on what the appointment was about I knew it was going to be a sales pitch. This is how it went.

Dr.: Does Isaac have problems with allergies, asthma, pain in his legs or arms?
Me: No
Dr.: Then he has the beginning stages of scoliosis. Do you know what scoliosis is?
Me: Yes I do. Who doesn't?
Dr.: Well then you can decide as a parent if you want to get this taken care of now or if you want his spine to heal misaligned. Even though he has no symptoms and hes not in pain does't mean he doesn't suffer from subluxation.
Me: So your saying if I decide not to make another appointment because I don't have $40 to throw away that makes me a bad parent?
Dr: (evading) Depends on how you view health. Do you think health is important?
Me: Of course I think health is important, I'm not ignorant. (And I have my Isagenix shaker in my hand!) So again if I don't make an appointment I'm a bad parent and I don't care about health?
Dr.: Well you can schedule one now so he can be at optimal health or you can wait until the next problem occurs and then schedule and appointment.
WHEN DID HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS TURN INTO USED CAR SALES MEN??
Thank you for helping my son and realigning the vertebrae in his neck because he slept wrong but don't appreciate the sleazy way you keep people coming back by trying to pull the guilt card.

Adjustment Results: I started seeing Dr. Vasko because I really needed a chiropractor who wouldn't flinch at the pain I was in and who would push through my pain to do the adjustments. He did accomplish this in the beginning. The short of it is this - $50 per (initial) session to be seen by Dr. Vasko for a approximately 5 minutes as he performed the same exact adjustment maneuvers as he did every time. After the first few appointments I felt like just a number, no special attention was brought to the progress or lack-there-of and after a few weeks (and hundreds of dollars) I was not improving whatsoever.

Here's where I got a little concerned. Payments: I don't have insurance and so they tried to get me to establish a credit account and when that didn't work out I was offered a payment plan of $40 per visit as long as I went once a week and prepaid a month in advance. This sounded ok to me at the time but I had a hard time getting the money up front so I had to wait a bit to get the money together.
Afterwards that's when the calls started. First I got calls daily, and then every few days asking me to make an appointment. I felt really pressured and bombarded. I've been going to chiropractors for years and never had anyone do this before. Now, the calls and messages on my cell phone have stopped mostly and it's been over a month since I went last and I just so happened to answer the phone at work today to hear a sales pitch from Dr. Vasko's office. I feel a bit invaded, I gave out my information on the paperwork for emergency and informational purposes, not to have them bug myself and my co-workers trying to get business.
