I did not have a problem with the office it was pretty clean. The staff could use some training on their bedside manners the office workers are in complete disarray. They cant get things organized. When they say they are going to take care of something do not believe them..call them every day until you get solid conformation in the mail or something. If your scheduled apt is canceled and they say they will call you back to reschedule dont count on it!!. thats just the tip of the iceberg. Those employees are a waste of government ;money As for Dr. Dove he was great

They ignored my questions and my appointment seemed rushed. Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. The office was easy enough to find. I needed a Pap I got a appointment could not stay the wait was 2 hrs as it was. They were to make another appt and never called me back 2 months later. Lower GI recommended 3 times sent to MUSC no response they said they never received it. I had CT done to check if Nodule growing this has been 2 months I have heard nothing and no appt set up. These people are ridiculous. The Dr himself told me that the Hospital is cutting back on seeing people with no insurance. Needless to say I always leave with the same problems at hand. And when sent to specialist they get my 100 dollars and say they can do nothing because I would not be able to afford it. Exhausted!

They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff is very friendly and professional. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. If I were in some kind of an emergency I'd go back. Otherwise, I'm going to look for something better.

As for the people who are so busy complaining about FCF, I invite you ALL to come down to Birmingham, Alabama and try and get low cost medical attention. I had to move down here after losing my job in Charleston, SC. For those who have no insurance or make almost next to nothing in income or who are just plain old dirt poor, there is only one - YES 1 - medical facility that serves a huge area. Waiting time in emergencey usually takes 9 to 15 hours - that is on a normal day. It takes up to a year to get an appointment then when it is time to be seen, the waiting time is no less than 2 or 3 hours. The cleical staff is disgusting, unprofessional, mean, rude, angry _ women who obviously hate their jobs and themselves (ESPECIALLY ON THE 7TH FLOOR IN JEFFERSON METRO - HORRIFYING FEMALES). The name of this facility is Cooper Green Hospital located in Birmingham, AL. It is extremely because so many people here are DIRT POOR! !

This medical facility is part of the state's responsibility and lacks funding. It is in terrible disrepair and lacks so many of the basic equipment of a hospital or plain old medical facility. There are certain doctors needed but not in place due to the lack of funding. Yet the state of Alabama and the city of Birmingham would rather build a new baseball stadium instead of coming to the aid of the ONLY medical facility of this kind that serves Jefferson County's indigent population. It boils down to this, the people who have the money to donate (automatic tax write-off) and rhose who could make a huge difference simply don't give a damn. Oh and that is well coupled with the fact that 90% of the people here are dumb as dirt, simply brain dead yet they have the gaul to attempt arrogance. It is a revolting, cruel and bad joke.

All of that to say, patients of FCF should count their blessings. You are in good hands!
