When speaking with a salesman the first time, I was impressed with the ease of purchasing a stairlift. However, with each interaction afterward, I became more angry. Of course, this occurred only after payment had been submitted. First of all, the couple of "easy" items I had to do to get a lower price became not so easy. Finally, I had a receipt from them saying I had paid in full and zero balance when I was told via email that I would have to pay another $433 because I hadn't gotten one of the 'easy' items to them yet. At the time I was still waiting on my doctor to improve the note they had originally done for me. I logged onto my email after their business had closed for the day and explained to them that they could either wait on my doctor or give me my money back. However, when logging onto my bank account I noticed they had already debited the $433 without my permission!!! The doctor's note has been sent to me and I have sent it to US medical. It will be interesting whether they honor it and return my $433 they took out of my account without my permission. I didn't even know that is legal.

I have a mom who is now 90 years, still lives independently thanks to this store who helps us as we grow older. Been there many times and plan to continue as now me and my three siblings grow older as well. So many little gadgets to help with every day life. I visit whenever the need arises and the people who work there are so nice and helpful.

Very helpful, great selection of products, from heating devices to roller crutches, and chairs, tens units, stuff to make life easier... I drive from carrboro- best in the triangle.

I purchased 2 PR906 Wall hugger custom built lift chairs Jan 26 2011. I received the 2 owners manuals that stated a warranty of 3 years on electrical parts with an extended 4 through 7 year prorated warranty on electrical parts. The motor drive assembly broke on 6/2/2015. I called Raleigh Medical supply and they contacted Golden only to find out that the PR906 had only a 1 year warranty and no extended prorated. They then wanted to sell me a new drivefor over $300. The same exact motor drive was priced on line for $188.50.The best they could tell me was to buy it which I have done. No more Golden who do not back their merchandise and are not very relioable. No where in the warranty in the manuals I received did it state only a one year warranty. These chairs cost almost $1300 each. Take heed find out the exact warranty before you purchase.
