Their staff was okay as far as friendly. She didn't go out of her way to make me welcome. I felt worse when I left. I asked for my natural color to cover the gray and then carmel or wheat highlights. She never turned me toward the mirror while she was drying my hair, When I saw it I knew why....my hair was NEON YELLOW. I was so upset. I am 53 years old and was very specific that I did not want a lot of real real blonde in my hair, just a very natural look. I was so sick I called back to ask if there was something that she could do to tone it down. She told me yes. I went back, but it was not much better. Had a lot of copper color after that. When brushing through my hair it looked like a leopard. It has been over a month. I was there on Feb. 18, 2012 and I have never written a bad review on anyone before. I have thought about this for over a month and decided to write it. I hope no one else has to suffer throught this. It is the most embarrassing thing I have ever had done to my hair. I lived in Dallas for 25 years and went to a few salons, but I never had anything this bad happen.

They gave me sufficient information to make a decision about my treatment plan. It was very easy to get an appointment. They have a very flexible schedule and get me in quickly every time. I had to wait for a little while after I arrived for my appointment, but I've had to wait longer at other places. The one thing that I really enjoy about this place is their high level of customer service. Their full attention is always on me and they never take personal calls during my appointment. I've been to other places that answer their phone and it just drives me crazy. They have really great customer service here. They always put their customers first, regardless of the situation.

I went to this Salon with a very specific color and cut wanted - I had several pictures to show the style. The only drastic difference from my natural hair/style was the color; I wanted to go from dirty blond to GOLDEN blond. To achieve the cut I wanted, all I needed was layers put in and bangs cut in, my hair was the proper length. The first thing I did was show the stylist the pictures. She said yes, we can do that. She told me that she would do it with highlights, and told me that she couldn't do an all-over color, that I would have to come back several times to do it at $60 a visit. I thought this was weird because I could achieve the coloring at home with a box myself. I asked again, before ever sitting down if this would come out golden blond still. She assured me it would, so I agreed, thinking maybe this was just a way to not damage my hair as much. The first thing she did after sitting down was start cutting my hair; all she really did was cut about 1" off the bottom, and cut one layer in the back, that after looking at it again today it very "chopped" straight looking on the edges. She never touched my bangs which was the main thing I wanted in the cut. I asked her if she could do it like the picture and she didn't acknowledge me. My mother even walked over with the picture because she could see from the waiting area that it did not look right. She asked her if she wanted to see the photos again and again she didn't say anything, just looked up and kept cutting. The style I wanted should of been simple layers and long, side swept bangs; she cut one layer in and did not touch the front of my head. Bangs can be tricky and look a lot different with colors so I thought she was going to correct them after she colored. She moved on to coloring my hair next. As I said, I asked for golden blond. She started applying the bleach and the foil, and asked me "you didn't want it as light as mine, right?" I said no, I wanted it golden blond. Like the picture I showed you. Then she said "that girl has like 5 colors in her hair." and told me that it would be a lighter version of her bleach blond hair, which I did not want at all. She told me this after I asked repeatedly for golden blond, showed her the photos more than once, and she went back on all of that after it was too late and the bleach was on my head. She only foiled the top of my head, leaving the bottom untouched, and put me in the dryer for about 10 minutes. When we went to wash the color out I believe a lot was left in my hair; she didn't rinse very long or thoroughly, and my head smelled strongly of ammonia still even hours after I got home and had other products in my hair. I know there is some smell left over, but it was overwhelming. She quickly dried my hair and straightened it a bit, as far as I know not using and heat protection or any sort of product at all. She did not attempt to cut in bangs, I showed her the picture once AGAIN and asked to have it styled like that if she could; and she told me you had to use big rollers for that, and told me to go buy some from Sallys and bring them to her to do it. All in all, not including the time spent under the dryer, she worked on my hair for less than 20 minutes. We paid and left. I thought the color would grow on me with my mother and fiance assuring me it looked good. What I left with for $85 was a cut that looked no different than what I went in with, and very slightly lighter hair, almost gray looking, only on the top of my head. We called the next day and they refused to refund the coloring portion of the bill, not even a partial refund. She also wouldn't recolor it, saying it would break my hair. We went to another salon, who said it didn't even look like it was bleached, and spent 2 and 1/2 hours dying my entire head the proper color and it looks a million times better. She did exactly what Drab to Fab said they couldn't do in one sitting, or fix my hair to after messing it up. Don't EVER go here!!!
