They've never dismissed any of my concerns as unimportant, and take every concern of mine very seriously. I've never seen anyone who is more respected by their staff. The entire staff only had great things to say about working there, and it made me want to return all the more. They always go above and beyond to help me with anything I need. They never complain about anything, and I know I can always count on them.

I just want to thank the management/Director for making some very bold changes staring in August 2011. It is such a different facility now, there are a lot of bi-lingual nurses who now converse with my love one, they can understand her needs and she really likes the new nurses. She also enjoys all the staff and feels very secure with them. She also has gained some weight because the food is really good and likes the lady who directs the food program! She always ask her if she enjoys her meals and if she can do any more to help her enjoy her eating experience. Also, she tells me that the boss of the cleaning is so helpful, he makes sure that her room and all the other rooms are cleaned everyday and the place is never dirty. I will tell everyone who needs this kind of care to come and see buena ventura center because they really know how to care for my love one and others.

Did this provider have an entertaining selection of waiting room magazines?
Not at all! They were boring and outdated

This place was used to be top notched skilled nursing home especially on the nursing dept,, unfortunately, most of those good nurses are now either gone and the remaining good nurses are also trying to leave due to mismanagement, harrassment by the current administrator and new DON to their staff,, if you walk-in to this facility and ask anybody that's been working their for a while if they're still happy and they'll tell you how bad they want to be out of their if they have a place to transfer to, both of these two head dept's combine only cares about revenues/profits but don't care at all about their employees and especially the residents, however they are good at making promises, I will never put a family member at this facility unless you have no concern about your love one's safety & well being at all..

Every time I asked the staff a question, they referred me to someone else

No, it is their way or the highway
Does this provider always put the customer first?
No, putting customers first doesn't really seem to be a priority to them
Was there annoying music playing while you waited or during your visit?
Yes, but it didn't bother me much
Did this provider seem irritated to be working with you?
Yes, they seemed like they wanted to be somewhere else

They are completely committed to helping me as long as it takes to find the best solution. I never have to worry that they'll back out or give up if a solution isn't reached immediately, which has been a problem for me at other places. They always take the time to listen to me. I know they really care about me and what I have to say. They were somewhat easy to reach in an emergency. They didn't answer the call at first, but did eventually call me back. I found the office, but only because I had simple, very clear directions. I wish it had been easier to locate. I was confident that they were using the latest treatment methods.
