This employer asks and asks for overtime, extra hours and then when you need something, they don't budge. They say they don't have part time but they don't mind having all the temp agencies fill in. When an employer has all agencies, you have to wonder what type care is involved...

My mother and law spent the last week of her life here under Hospice. I can't say enough about how nice and caring everyone was. From the nurses to the janitors, everyone had a very personal, caring attitude. Though some of the equipment (beds) is antiquated, it was still a comfortable place to be.

This place is a terrible place to work. They are prejudice against blacks and of course they will hire some because the work load is heavy but they will not make them fill like they are part of the team. Not only that, they have a freeze on the raises there. They have had it for 3 years now. Who in their life would want to work for a company like that? The food is good because they have a black man cooking but the nurses (LPN's) who barely make more then the CNA'smake you feel like crap if you are black, let's not forget they have their picks of who they like and the reasons why. The CNA's often does a terrible job cleaning residents not usinsoap and water to clean them causing bed sores on top of not turning them regularly. I will never put a family member there or work there ever again.

I had a family member living here and thought it was the best for my mom but i was wrong..oh when i first got there they were friendly and treated us like family..well then i noticed that mom was losing weight and i asked the nurses and was told mom just wouldnt eat..i called everyday and was told the same thing time and time again..well i got a phone call that mom had fell out of her chair but was ok no need to take her to hospital...well i had been out of town and when i came back to see mother she had split her head wide open and where she shld have had stiches was bubbled up and grew back together and left such a scar..i asked the nurse about mom and they had no record of her falling....really? they called me a week before.. i believe they are fabfracting their paper work and i know that is against the law..i went to the adminastrator and she was nice at first then she made me feel like it was my fault that i was out of town..needless to say i took mom out that same day! then just a few weeks ago i hear they are under investigation..are they gonna do anything about these people who run this place and are just in it for the money? when is it safe to trust nurses anymore to provide care for our loved ones? Iam very very very disappointed in this system that we have here in the united states that say its ok to abuse our elderly..and whats so bad is it is not really the cna staff that were neglectful it is that nursing office...Christy stafford and deneen evans and frieda mortan and cindy wilmouth should lose their nusing lis and never be able to work around the sick and feeble anymore! SHAME ON YOU BAPTIST HEALTH CARE!! SHAME ON YOU!

This is the worst place to send a loved one or to work there. from my understanding they are under investigation. And its not good. If you ask me they need to go thru that place and fire a lot of people. Starting from the very top and she know who she is..

They are tipped off when the State inspection is about to happen. Therefore, have all staff work over to prepare.. have done that myself...and perhaps the reason for a good rating from the State. The people with family that visit often are receiving the best care, and pretty good care, otherwise, the care is not good. The residents of the facility are ignored almost ongoing if they cannot defend their rights or tell anyone that something is wrong. They have many young people that work at this facility and playtime to them is more important than the people that live there. I used to work there and am NOT a disgruntled x employee. Just a person that was surprised that this happens. I could not in good conscience continue to work there. I have witnessed what I would consider abuse in this facilty. I personally would not put anyone in my family there and would certainly consider all other options. Remember, when someone is trying to get your business they ALWAYS put their best foot forward. It is ran pretty much by one family, from the administrator on down, most supervisors are related. Do a surprise walk through and not appointment if you are seriously considering this facility.

My mother is a resident at Baptist Health Care, she has been there for over a year and is fully capable of self reporting all information regarding the care she receives there, as she is completely aware of her living environment. She is very happy with Baptist and we have had no trouble since she has been there. All the staff seem genuine and go out of their way to speak with the residents and even address them by name. My mother has also been at other facilities and we have experienced care at Baptist that far exceeds all others we have encountered. They are not perfect, but I have only good things to say about this facility and we are more than satisfied with the care my mother receives there.
