The staff really knows what they're doing, and they know a lot about the company they work for. They're able to answer most of my questions, and the only ones they don't are the ones they need their boss's approval for. They always take the time to listen to me. I know they really care about me and what I have to say. It was easy to get the appointment time that worked for my schedule. I could tell that they took pride in their office's appearance. It was very well organized and well taken care of.

They have really great customer service here. They always put their customers first, regardless of the situation. I was left in the appointment room by myself, but they eventually returned. They were very polite and helpful and made sure that I had everything I needed. I've never seen anyone who is more respected by their staff. The entire staff only had great things to say about working there, and it made me want to return all the more. They always return my phone calls quickly. I always know that I'll get a prompt answer to my question.

I visited this provider years ago because I heard he was the best. I remember feeling awkward while being treated, as his bedside manner was less than desirable. With being personable, you either have it, or you don't. If he's truly one of the best, then I guess I don't care about that, when I know I'm receiving a true expert in the field. However for routine issues, where I can go with anyone, I would definitely go with someone else. For any patients sensitive to their child's emotional well being, bring a close friend who is a positive/good advocate to the office visit(s), so you don't have to leave the visit saying "what was that?" ... just realize he's brilliant with eyes, just not with bedside manner.

we have been for one visit so far, for esotropia in our four year old. Dr Simon was helpful and did fine with our daughter, I'd give him a B for relating to her and being patient, she handles herself well with doctor's visits so far, but I saw many moments where he was a bit short and could have sent her into tears or made her feel like being uncooperative, b/c it was unfamiliar to her and he kept testing her on a letter of the alphabet that she confuses often. We are in the first steps of addressing this, but I have not heard mention from him about vision therapy, aside from the bifocals but he did mention surgery. So, I have more questions to ask the next time. I wasn't familiar at the time with her condition and feel he could have been more thorough in explaining the physiology of it and the potential therapies etc.
