AFD Germantown office where I have been going for 10 yrs has greatly disappointed me and I want to alert anyone to this FRAUD. I was diagnosed with periodontal disease by the hygienist. I never saw a doctor for my normal visit. This requires more extensive cleaning and more frequent visits and much out of pocket money over what the insurance would pay. After the first cleaning and 150.00 out of pocket I went 3 months later to another dentist who did not have my old records to look at, and stated after her examination everything looks very good. This is the report I normally got from all my dentists and I am 59 yrs old. Since when do hygienists diagnose diseases? Don't go there.

Be aware of that place , it's a total RIP OFF !!! The staff is highly unprofessional and rude ... The Doctor only concern is to fill the pockets with $ and does not care of the patients well being ... Oh and if you are do for the root canal , for the relieve you will be prescribed Lodine ...

They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all.
Had to write a review. On a scale from 1 to 10 my anxiety level is 100. However, Dr. Case and his staff did everything they could to make each office visit comfortable for me. The clerical personnel, Dr. Case and Kim were extremely patient during each visit. I would diffidently recommend this office to others.

Again, thank you Dr. Case and Kim. You were friendly, listened to my concerns and did everything you could to make me feel at home during my procedures.

They answered most of my questions but I could have used more information. Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. I feel like my appointment was pointless.
I went to American Family Dentistry to fill two of my teeth. the first tooth was filled appropriately and I was fairly satisfied. the second time I went there, my dentist was changed. Dr. R filled my other tooth and it was a disaster. He did a pretty poor job and didn't smoothed surface of the filling. I had to came back the next day, to fix it, b/c I was unable to eat anything at all.
however, even after he smoothed my teeth, I still had problems for several months later, since I felt a very sharp pain in my tooth by eating anything.
I didn't want to get back there to ask them to fix my tooth because they had already destroyed it and I could not trust them any more.
In addition to that, the dentist assistant was very distracted and she dropped stuff on the floor several times. she was not ready in time and quick enough to help out the dentist.
I should say I am very very unsatisfied and disappointed from this place and will not suggest it to anyone.
