Horrible office staff and dentist. My son would leave there so upset he would vomit. The staff and the dentist are nasty people.

waited for over 1 and 1/2 hours to get in a room, then waited another 20 minutes..then we left...never saw the dentist or anything. No one else was there so we have no idea what the hold up was. Also the dental assistant was eating in front of customers, talking with her mouth full and completely unprofessional!! Will NEVER go there again.

I have never been to such an unprofessional office such as the Rockaway Dental Center. The office staff, especially Cindy, is rude, crude and without manners. Adam Helfand, the so called Dentist never introduced himself to me. I had a tooth that had to be bonded. He bonded the tooth while watching Bonanza on TV. I have never seen a doctor watch TV while working.....and I am sure that is why within 1-1/2 weeks the bonding fell out. I called the office to made another appointment telling Cindy that the bonding fell out and was advised to come into the office in 2 days for the repair. When I arrived for my appointment, they escorted me to one of the examination chairs where I waited 20 minutes for Cindy to come out to tell me that he refused to bond the tooth again...and that I needed a crown. He never had the decency to examine the tooth and talk to me about my options. She told me if I was unhappy to go to another dentist. Unfortunately, I have Horizon Dental Choice where you must name a dentist...so that was not an option that I wanted to take. However, I did speak to my Insurance Company to see how fast I could change to another dentist and was able to get the tooth bonded the next day. I will never use their services again and I would urge you to think twice before letting this so called "Superman Dentist" touch your or a member of your family's teeth.

Incidentally, my new Dentist advised me that I did not need a crown and that bonding was definitely a viable option.

My kids love this office! Bright and cheery with a wonderful staff. Dr.Helfand is great with the kids and has a great treasure chest that they look forward to. My new bridge is perfect! The color is right on and no one can tell it's not my real teeth. A+++

Horrible! Didn't introduce himself! Worked on my young daughter without any bedside manners. I feel so bad for taking her there and making her dental experience a nightmare. Won't go back!

went to adam helfand many years ago the WORST most UNPROFESSIONAL Dentist ever!!! By reading recent reviews nothing has changed. Years ago could not write reviews, thank goodness for todays technology. Very Surprised he is still has a practice, terrible
dentistry.
