I was terrified to get put under general anesthesia for laparoscopic surgery to have an ovary and cyst removed. I went ahead and followed through with the surgery and trusted this doctor the best I could in my fear, however this doctor gave me a whole new reason to fear the surgery than general anesthesia. After the surgery I was told there were no complications during surgery and was ok to go home. When I got home I was vomiting and in horrible pain, I could tell something was wrong and called 911. I was sent to Enloe since I live in Chico. At Enloe they did a CT scan and saw I had an infection. The surgeon told me he would have to do surgery, exploratory laparotomy, as soon as possible or I could die. The surgeon found that during Dr. Anderson's laparoscopy she had perforated/ cut my bowels in the process causing the infection. The surgeon at Enloe had to repair my bowels as well as clean out the infection it had caused. I had to stay in the hospital for 9 days where I had IV's in my neck and was connected to just about everything I could possibly be connected to since I couldn't take anything orally until my bowels healed. I was in a perpetual panic attack my whole stay and couldn't believe I had put my live in Dr. Anderson's hands by letting her do surgery. The surgeon at Enloe had to do a total of 3 surgeries to fix the damage Dr. Anderson had done to me. Now I have about 12 weeks before I'm am healed and have staples up and down my abdomen, and could have died, because Dr. Anderson was too incompetent or negligent to perform what was supposed to be a simple laparoscopic surgery that is supposed to heal within 3 to 4 days. Please if you care about your life do not go to this Doctor!

The office staff seemed friendly and efficient, but I would never recommend this Doctor. She was rude and treated me like I was beneath her. I have M.S. so I forget things I want to discuss. When I told her I had a note, she reached for it, changed her mind, and said "I hate notes." The clinic uses a lot of Physician Assistants so my previous provider (they assigned me) was a P.A. Dr. Anderson (who also works for the clinic) basically scolded me for taking their advice since they "are not Doctors."
Dr. Anderson needs to leave the clinic since she acts like she despises her patients.

Though the waiting room was full due to many baby deliveries that day, and the doctor must have been tired, the wait was minimal and the staff kept me informed. When I met with the doctor she took the time to carefully explain my complex problem to me, while carefully going over all my records and lab results. I would recommend her to anyone.

The staff is worthless. I'm trying to change doctors and I called over 3 weeks ago to make an appointment and was told I can come in the day of my appointment to sign my doctor release form and continue on with my appointment that I scheduled. The day of my appointment I was called that it was canceled because the doctor is delivering a baby; then a few hours later I get a phone call saying I cannot even make a appointment until I come in to fill out the doctor release. I faxed it and they still haven't received my form. I call back today and they gave me "a better number" to fax to and that number doesn't work. I sure wished someone would have told me that I can of even think about making an appointment until I sign a release.
