The wait wasn't terrible, but it wasn't the best

I would absolutely recommend them to my friends looking for a good pediatrician. They were fantastic with my kids. . They're able to answer most of my questions,. I always have the best experience every time I have an appointment here

Absolutely! It is right off the freeway and close to everthing
Does this provider ever overbook appointments here?
Never! They have lots of business, but they do such a great job of never overbooking.

They keep the restrooms well-stocked here, and not just with the basics. There is mouthwash, lotion and other amenities. You can tell they want their clients to be as comfortable as possible. I can see now why they specialized as a pediatrician because they were so kid friendly. They put in the extra effort to make my child feel special and important. Just as a side note, this business is really conveniently located and is close to everything. It is right off and freeway and close to all kinds of shops. I was able to do my shopping for the week right after my appointment. My child absolutely loves David Holzsager, MD. They are so kid-friendly and act like my child's best friend. This doctor has great bedside manner. They were so kind and attentive to me. I didn't have to worry about them arguing with me, or contradicting what I had to say, which has been a problem for me at other places.

Dr. Holzager is great. I never felt rushed during our appointments, which are often at the end of the day. He answers all questions throughly. A suggestion would be to write down any questions you may have as they may not get answered and they help keep the appointment on track. He has suggested this to us, which was helpful in getting the most out of our appointments. I was happy that I got in for a follow-up appointment because it helped a lot. However, had I not made the appointment, there would not have been one. It would've been nice if the office would have followed up with us to make the follow-up appointment. It was really nice to see how patient they were with first-time mothers. They've stayed open past their closing times, when I've needed help. They've never turned me away when I've needed them. His nurses always return calls immediately and are always willing to answer questions when calling. Some of the front office staff, however, are not very nice or professional, but once you get past those hiring disasters, Dr. Holzsager is wonderful! Often the appointments seem overbooked, but I think it's more that he takes his time with his patients which I have come to appreciate. He has been our daughter's pediatrician since she was five-days old, she is now 13 months old and I could not think of bringing her to anyone else.

I like Dr. Holzsager, however, I truly believe they overbook appointments for him. My normal wait time is about 45 minutes to get in (during flu season) when I have had an appointment time. It's hard to get an appointment for an emergency visit, they can work you in, but then you are waiting for a couple of hours to get in, therefore I go to MedExpress, in and out in 30 minutes or so. I feel that they need more help in the office to eliminate everyone looking so harried all the time and trying to do too many things at once. Overall, I am satisfied with the doctor and the staff, but I think there is a shortage in staff for the amount of work that is expected of them.
