Nurses are knowlegable, but understaffed. Non-nursing staff are nice enough, but not trained well. The Chief Doctor could not tell me what I needed or when I would get treatment or when i would leave (was there for acute problem that kept me from standing or even sitting). I was stuck in the facility 3 weeks longer than I should have due to their not getting the PRESCRIBED treatment for me. My "team" each week were oblivious of what my problem each time we met (except for the Phys Therapist), the "Team" does not include a doctor--not do the "team members" actually read the medical reports. Observed other "medical staff" providing poor care or bad information to other clients--they obviously had not read the patient's medical records. One poor woman called for help 3 or 4 times because her air mattress had deflated, but she was quite out of it and thought it was a wrinkeled blanket causing all the pain in her spine...when the CNA staff showed up they didn't know what the alarm meant (kept silencing it) all together until the next morning--the poor woman was sleeping all night on a hard metal bed with a wrinkeld, empty air mattress on it. The didn't have correct size colostomy bag for one woman, and was told by nurse to "empty this one out, rinse it and put back on patient". "Eating specialist" kept telling this one lady to "eat more" and encouraged her eating frappes brought in by friends, and drinking sugar soda (brought by the aide) every day....in the meanwhile her blood sugar was off the charts due to medication--NO ONE told the nutitionist or the patient that she should not eat sugar.

They didn't tell me anything about my treatment options. I left feeling very confused and frustrated. I was hoping that they would be sympathetic to my situation and understand where I was coming from. Instead, they made it completely obvious that they didn't care about me or what I had been through. I was completely distressed during my appointment. I was unable to relax and ended up having to leave. The most disgusting facility anyone could ever visit or worse have to remain in...along with the non english speaking staff the below par nursing staff of some..not all..makes it as your taking your life in your own hands being there...run..dont walk to another facility
