I love Royal Oak. From the first meeting with there admissions person, Jessica. She was so friendly and full of information. When we did our tour of the facility she said hello to everyone and the residents seemed to interact well with her. My sister and I thought that was a great sign that the staff there really cared for the residents. Royal Oak has a home like feeling from the second you walk in. The facility is small but the personable feeling is there and I feel that is the most important part. My mom was only there for a few weeks for rehab but I can honestly say they give wonderful care. No place Is going to be perfect, and sometimes I think the staff could have done better, but I am sure they are under tremendous stress. I will always remember Royal Oak for the great job they did with my mom.
It is going to be a year soon that my Mother passed away while in your care. I only wish that we would have NEVER chose to put her there. If you are reading this STOP and look somewhere else. Don't put your loved one at Royal Oaks. Even after all this time I still HATE this place they took my mother from me.
