This nursing home does not answer call buttons. My Aunt called me for help an hour after she wet herself. She tried a get a bed pan, but no one would respond. It took me calling a nurses station to get a response. Most staff does not seem to care about the patients. I have observed staff making fun of patients in the hall. I hope to never get stuck in that place!
I was at Manor Care for a month after surgery. They just walked by the lights when someone was calling for care. My roommate couldn't breathe and waited over 30 min for a nurse, I had to go down the hall and get one. They don't answer call buttons until they feel like it - usually over a half hour. I received wrong meds more than once. Food was canned food off a truck and was horrible. Nurses have not been trained in the U.S. and most of them, I could not understand. I never saw a dr. Five years ago when I was there, I reported false billing to Medicare. Medicare looked into the records and found false billing and refused to pay.
