On the the Thurs before Christmas next Tues, both of my children were diag w/the flu. Their pedi suggested my husband (who sees Stephen Buksh) and I get our doctors to call in some preventative tamuflu, as we were going to be contaminated, and around my neice and nephew who have juv diabetes. (which means their immune systems are shot.) My husband's doc said no prob and called it in. After two phone calls to Swegler/Fuller's nurse, they STILL have not approved or disapproved the refill. It's now Saturday and I've made my third call and am awaiting a call back on the status.
Keep in mind that I work in an Ortho Surg office, so I am very aware of how busy docs can be. But I also know how long it takes a doctor to say yay or nay to a prescription call in and to push an electronic button to get it filled. From my knowledge of medical offices, it would appear that this office is exactly like how I was warned when I decided to try it over a year ago..all they care about is getting the patients in like cattle to make their money. I loved their hours, but their service is subpar and their nurses completely inadequate w/people skills and understanding a patient's needs. Beware! And I will not be recommending them to my friends/family!

Staff is uncaring, rude and uninterested-they will ignore you completely. I had been in twice for severe bronchitis within a week and was told it would take time to subside as it was viral, when I requested a refill for the cough medicine I was treated like a drug addict. After crying i the waiting room after being told I had to be seen but they couldn't see me that day before I could get a refil, I was the one that had to suggest perhaps there was another medication that wasn't narcotic that could allow me to stop coughing so I could sleep. It was a horrible experience and I will never return. They knew how ill I was and did not have any concern whatsoever, except for their own schedules and convenience. Later in the conversation I was told some doctor could see me in 2-3 hours, uhtil I suggested a different medication might be effective. I was treated in front of a lobby full of patients like I a nuisance and they just wished I would not bother them for something os insignificant as not being able to breathe well or sleep from the sever coughing.
