Dr. Buongiorno has been treating me for 15 years. He and his assistant, Sheila Mulford, have taken very good care of me over the years. Dr. Buongiorno is extremely knowledgable and always stays up to date on new developments in psychiatry. He is very quick to respond to all my calls and emails. I even have a mobile number I can contact him on after business hours in case of an emergency. Although it took me a short while to get to know him in the beginning (he's kind of stoic), I quickly learned how kind and caring he truly is and has been all these years. He has never given up on me even when I was at my worst. He also tries to help me find affordable medication and is usually quite successful. He listens to my every concern and takes all of them into consideration when assessing my treatment plan. He is always very prompt, even when I arrive early. The office is very pleasant and Sheila is extremely helpful with appointment scheduling and the other business matters. She is very friendly and will do anything to help. She's a smart cookie. I will always highly recommend Dr. Buongiorno to anyone. He is a godsend.
