I would not visit this doctor for any mental health concerns. He does not provide any input and barely feigns interest in your problems. Immediately I was told that certain medications I had been on, which were helpful if not necessary, would no longer be prescribed. I spent hour after hour talking about my problems with no response. I feel that WebMD is more interactive than a visit with him. After I discontinued seeing him there was a hiccup with my health insurance and the Dr contacted me personally numerous times for his payment, and showed no concern for why I stopped seeing him. If you want to feel worse after seeing a therapist than I would recommend him, otherwise find help elsewhere. I am in worse shape after seeing him than before I began treatment.

The doctor and the office staff have the attitude that they are doing you a favor seeing you. Dr. Durocher has a Frasier like attitude. My son felt as if he looked down on him and his problems. As a consequence (punishment) for not taking his meds. exactly as directed, Dr. Durocher cut the anxiety meds by 1/3 for a month - he did not care to hear about the panic attacks that proceeded or followed.
The office is as cold as ice. Their only goal is to collect the $160.00. If you miss an appointment it is still $160.00 plus the new visits $160.00. You pay them $320.00 BEFORE the doctor will see you, regardless of your condition. We felt that he didn't care if he helped or not.
