Stay away from this place!!! Real creepy experience. Went in May for my 6 month cleaning and was told I needed a crown .Got letter saying I was not approved by insurance.A few weeks ago I get a call from Horizon reception saying I had to come in for fillings? Never was told I had needed fillings back in May. I went for the appointment and because I mentioned I did not remember regarding needing fillings, he proceeded to say in a condensing manner "You don't remember if you don't have cavities?? I said no as I know for sure he never told me. This is something I would remember as I am very conscious of my medical and dental issues. Then without numbing me, he proceeded to stick needles in my upper gums and did not stop even when I expressed major pain. I said I have never had so much pain getting a filling before. He got extremely defensive and said "Oh your saying It's me?" At this point I saw the kind of person I was dealing with and should of just gotten out my seat and left at that point.Oh I almost forgot when he was torching me with raw needles. He made an inappropriate comment saying "I see you liking getting sticked to. I know at that point I wanted to run for the hills from this creep.I ran out of there as soon as I was done and asked reception for a copy of my dental records for my reference. They made a huge deal of it.I just wanted a copy of what was in my yellow chart. They told me they don't keep a chart in office when I clearly saw my yellow chart with my name on it.They told me I had to talk to the dentist. He was extremely uncooperative and tried to intimidate and manipulate me saying things like "You mean forever"?I felt like I was talking to a 2 year old. All I wanted sans X- rays was a copy of my chart from about the 6 times I had been there. He kept acting like he did not understand what I saying. It does not take a brain surgeon, to figure out something is not kosher at this office Reception kept telling me they had to get records from another office?? (as they did not keep them there). They said I would have it on Friday. I called twice to make sure before going there. Friday morning I went and was given 1 page sheet of itemized dates and billing to insurance. There was no details or description of diagnosis and procedures. They were hostile and would not only give me copies but I could not even look to see what was written in it. They called the dentist on phone since he was out of the office. At this point I was so livid that when I got him on phone I told him I had better have those copies asap. I have a legal right to them. He started to yell over the phone and I proceeded to throw phone on counter due to the aggravating frustration and disrespect. I have never had such a horrible experience. All my doctors in the past gave me copies of all my records while I waited in the office. The only logical reason I could think of why they would not give them to me is because there is something unethical going on in this office. What could possibly be so "top secret" in my dental records???
I know I should of left much sooner as I felt an intuitive uneasiness on other occasions. I let it go as I figured it was just for a cleaning every 6 months near my apt. and the hygienist did it. I unfortunately when back.

They were ready to see me when I showed up for my appointment. I never had to wait for them to show up. I can tell it is maybe not a top priority to maintain a professional appearance here. They didn't look terrible, but there is definitely lots of room for improvement. They don't really take that extra step to make me feel special. I'm just another client to them. I was worried that they were going to wear an obnoxious cologne, because I've dealt with that at other places, but they didn't even wear cologne. It was fantastic to be able to breathe freely the entire time. I got an appointment quickly. I've never had to wait too long.
