My complaint is not with the Doctor who did my surgery. My complaint is with Athens Ortho Clinic's billing department. I overpaid on the day of my surgery and am owed several hundred dollars. Their billing department is in North Carolina. Instead of receiving a refund from them, I got a bill. I have talked to them twice and it is like pulling teeth to get them to understand that I am owed a refund. It seems like one hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing.
I really like my Orthopedist, Dr. Register. But I will not be coming back for any future Orthopedic needs because their billing department is horrendous.

This review is more focused on the office staff and the efficiency of the office since the doctors are first class. My mother had an appointment today and i swear it took 6 staff members telling me to go here and there before i found her room. Luckily i didn't miss meeting with her and her doctor since she is in rehab for her knee but it only because i got rude with the staff then they took the effort to help me. I swear they have 30 staff members crammed in the back and most of them are just goofing off and acted like they shouldn't be bothered to have to help me. Possibly the worst managed office staff I have ever seen. I run a small business that services hundreds of customers with only my self and one other person and I have never given a customer the run around like that. Just no excuse considering the man power being wasted. Great doctors tho!!
