I saw Marcia Sparling around 2003 because of hip pain. She said that my hip pain was not due to RA. She was correct about the hip but not about my other joints. She also said I just needed physical therapy for the hip and put a note in my file that I was drug seeking. My hip was replaced in 2006. If any of the many doctors I went to regarding my hip pain had diagnosed it correctly in 2002 I might not have had to have my hip replaced. I had difficulty getting a doctor to prescribe pain relief because of her note so I went several years with extreme pain. Late in 2005 a doctor finally did believe me and put me on a very strong pain medication. Now in 2014 I have been diagnosed with RA. She was wrong on both diagnoses and very uncaring and unsympathetic.
