Ok I Will say I haven't been to him but if had two brothers and one son under his care. He is knowledgeable, knows how to individualize care for each patient and anyone I know who goes to him sings his praises. I feel he is one of the top psychiatrist in Illinois.

Dr. Qureshi runs his office like a public health clinic. Nurses and support staff wear scrubs... They weigh you upon arrival... Consultation rooms are cold and sparsely-decorated. The entire atmosphere makes you feel like a "sick" person. On my first two visits to the office, I waited nearly an hour past my appointment time to see the nurse practitioner, who then proceeded to spend about 15 minutes with me before sending me on my way with a prescription. Here's the worst part, though... I was headed out of town and needed a prescription refill, so I called the office and left a message. No reply. I called again later that afternoon. No reply. I wound up having to leave town without the prescription. When I finally heard back from the staff on Monday, they agreed to call my 'script in. The only problem was that they called in the WRONG prescription. (In fact, they called in a prescription for a drug that CAN'T legally be called in.) By the time I got home that night, I had missed two days of my medication and had started experiencing negative side effects as a result. The office provides no emergency or after-hours contact information, so I had to spend two hours tracking down Dr. Qureshi before he finally called in the correct prescription. When I met with Dr. Qureshi the next day, he blamed the entire situation on ME... saying that I should have read the "pamphlet" they gave me on my first visit to the office, which states that prescription refills can take up to two days to process. He expressed no empathy for the uncomfortable weekend I'd spent without my medication and essentially spent the entire conversation defending his actions and the actions of his staff. A simple, "I'm so sorry you had to go through that" would have been nice to hear. I will never return to this office, and I strongly advise against utilizing Dr. Qureshi's services. I've never felt so disrespected by a doctor in my life.

Their primary concern is my safety and comfort, and they always take the time to address every concern of mine immediately. I will absolutely be returning. They did a great job, and I can’t wait for my next appointment. Every time I come here they always remember me by name and greet me as soon as I walk in the door, even if it's been months since my last appointment. They are so thoughtful and amazingly sweet, I just love this place.

They aren't known for being that good at what they do in my area, but they aren't known for being terrible either. They should probably work on improving their professional reputation. They should have looked into my medical background before they recommended a treatment plan. They didn't know or care about it at all. I don't feel like I've made any progress whatsoever after seeing them. They haven't been able to help me at all. Their office was extremely loud, I felt like I was going to go deaf. I couldn't hear anything that anyone was saying over the blaring noise. Not only did they not answer my questions, they barely gave me any information whatsoever. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered.
