I appreciated that they took the time to really listen to my input and concerns. It made me feel respected and important. I’ve been to some other psychiatrists that really rushed my appointment, but they didn’t do that here at all. I was able to take as much time as I needed. Just as a side note, I was very impressed with how conveniently located this business was and how close it was to other shopping centers. It was so easy to find, I didn't have any trouble at all.

Whenever I called with a question or concern, the staff made me feel stupid for calling. The office staff is extremely rude and very unprofessional. They treat the patients as if they are 2nd class citizens that should be ashamed they are having issues with anxiety/depression, etc. The doctor seems extremely worn out and uncaring. I could barely understand him, and 2 minutes into my very 1st appointment he started writing his prescriptions for me. The entire experience was a nightmare and i would urge anyone not to go!

I went to this provider when my normal psychiatrist took a leave of absence. This was one of the worst medical experiences I've ever had (and boy have I had some bad ones).
I was doing just fine on my current meds, but on the first visit he changed them all. He briefly mentioned "high dosage" but offered no other reason than "this will be better for you." One of the medications he put me on had just become available, and his office looked like a sales room for this drug. Where the med I had been on came as generic, I spent over $200.00 for one month of this one and noticed absolutely no difference in efficacy.
He took me off of the antidepressant I was on and put me on a combination of two other meds that would "work much better." I had been diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder more than a decade prior and gone through many antidepressants and saw no need to change something that was working, but I wasn't given a choice in the matter. One of these meds caused me to go into a hypomanic state. When I called his office with concerns about the side effects, he refused to listen and told me "that is not the medicine, it is the mania." I had NEVER before had a manic or hypomanic episode, nothing in my medical history even came close to hinting at such. Although he relented at the next office visit when I told him I was never taking the offending medicine again if he prescribed it, for the rest of my tenure as his patient he kept referring to me as Bipolar and saying things would help with my mania.
As a patient that takes the initiative to do research on my own about the drugs I put in my body, and more importantly, as the person who lives in my body every minute of every day and knows when something is not right, I would have been appalled by his manner even had I not had a bad experience with the meds he prescribed. His unwillingness to listen to my concerns or provide a rational explanation for what he was doing is unforgivable.
