She was the worst. She prescribed medication for my son which was way to much. His side effects were voting, nausea, faint, grey in color, dizzy. She told me if I didn't continue with meds she couldn't help me.

Dr. Patel makes one-time-visit snap judgments and is too ready with her prescription pad. She was useless in helping my spouse and I get the proper tools we needed to work through marital issues.

I went to see Dr. Patel about my son to have him evaluated for ADHD. She sent us away for a few months to start therapy and have a neurologist's evaluation. Even though both the therapist and neurologist felt that my son did not have ADHD, she was convinced he had, after only meeting him once! She was only interested in starting him on medication and not discussing other possible causes for his behavior. I will not be returning or recommending her to any of my family/friends.

After doing some research and interviewing others I called Dr. Mona Patel to ask a few question about the medication she prescribed for my teenage daughter. Her response was "believe whatever you want" and had no professional research or information to back her responses. She was so intimidated and defensive about my basic concern questions that she became very derogatory towards me. She even went as far as saying that maybe I need to be on medication in order to help my daughter. She is extremely unprofessional, inappropriate and from what she has demonstrated unknowledgeable about her chosen field of "expertise". I have never been more disappointed by a "professional" that I sought help from.
