• First off, let me say that the people at the front desk have always been very courteous.
I had been taking my two beautiful cats there for many years and always trusted and listened to the vets.
My older pet came down with what they called a form of IBD as he would throw-up, have gas and loose stool.
So for the next 4 years he had many tests, put on expensive prescription foods and eventually prednisone.
The symptoms lessened for a while and when they were coming back was switched to prednisolone.
The symptoms lessened again for a while, but returned and that's when I decided to look up on line the symptoms and found he had
vitamin B12 deficiency. Considering how long it takes to get an appointment, I decided to to order the liquid B12. Well, after about a
month of, his symptoms had gone away! HIS QUALITY OF LIFE WAS BACK!
I looked back at his past records and he was NEVER tested for vitamin B12 deficiency.
So, he could of had nearly four years of a better quality of life if just one B12 test had been done by WAC.
Oh, and don't ever ask for them to trim knots, they missed several & nicked him in a couple places and of course charged extra. Also

never bothered to tell me they did that.

• My other pet, I was told by WAC, had chin acne and was given stuff to clean it with. Well, it wasn't going away and was tuning into a
sore. Still, I was being prescribed more stuff to put on it. After more months and more stuff to put on it I was got an appointment to have it removed. By this time it had grown quite large and red. It took a lot of stitches, but it was finally gone.
About a month later I could feel a small lump on his neck and asked for an appointment to remove it at WAC.
They said couldn't operate for about 4 months (Feb 2021) as they were all booked up.
They didn't care.
It was growing quickly. I made an appointment at VESH emergency clinic. They found that by this time the cancer had spread and the
lump was too large to remove. All I could do was give pain medication & had to have him put to sleep.

• Within the the past 2 years Westover Animal Clinic went from a place I trusted to the last place I'd bring a pet.
