Very professional. Listened carefully and understood my concerns. Great people skills and made my child feel very comfortable. Gave me several alternatives and excellent advice on how to manage my kindergartener's tantrums and school problems. Will definitely recommend her to others.

I visited Dr. Wahi a few months ago and have felt obliged to write this. I was taking the Law Bar Exam and had left till the very last minute testing to get accommodations. There were only 9 days for the last deadlines. I called several places and nobody was willing to help me because these are very detailed and take many hours to do. Dr Wahi listened to my situation and explained that she was full and going out of town in a few days. When I told her how desperate I was, she said she would be willing to do it - but, it would mean we started after work and it might continue till very late. I agreed and I even bought food to her office to eat while testing. She didn't mind. She worked with me and the testing went on till about 11.30 at night. The next day she spent almost the whole day writing my report. In three days time she fedexed it. I got extra time on my Bar Exam. She was the only doctor willing to work with me, and she went above and beyond. I was so embarrassed that I had left it off till the last minute, but, she didn’t make me feel small or judge me. She just said that she was impressed that I was not willing to give up and she hoped things worked out. At the end of testing I gave her more money than she had asked for all her work. She looked very surprised and said she didn’t expect it. Her efforts made a very big difference to me on my exam. I wish there were more doctors like her.

We took our 5yo son the Dr. Wahi because of behavioral issues. She had us fill out an extensive packet of papers about our perception of his behavior. Upon meeting our son, she spoke to him for maybe 10 minutes and my wife for the remainder of the hour. She subsequently gave him a diagnosis recommended medication. We followed this up with another clinical psychologists for a second opinion, as we were not sure medication was the best route for a 5yo child.

The second Dr met with our son for over an our and included the entire family, to get an understanding of the interactions between parents and children (we have 2 other sons). She also asked for a second meeting where she spent an entire session of one on one time with our son.

At the first meeting with the second Dr, we provided the documentation that Dr. Wahi had given us and explained the events that lead to the initial diagnosis. The second Dr was shocked to hear the course of events as well as the $800 price tag that went with the Dr. Whai's findings.

Having also spoken now with a third Dr, and receiving the same feedback on Dr Wahi's diagnosis, we are absolutely disheartened by the whole experience. I recommend not even wasting your time, but if you do decide to see her- please do yourself and your family a favor and do find a second opinion.
