We all know that a review is written only when a doctor/clinic provides excellent service or terrible service. This is one situation in which I have not only been provided excellent service, but on the 20+ occasions that I have seen Dr. Napoli over the past few years, he has also fixed me, so to speak. I have serious back issues (one resulting from a traffic accident) as well chronic neck issues.

Location:
Very central, right ON Coon Rapids Blvd. It’s at the intersection of Coon Rapids Blvd and a street (I can’t remember which one exactly, but it’s one light west of Hanson Blvd)

Reception desk:
The doctor’s assistant, Cindy, is extremely efficient and a very nice person. She really makes an effort to schedule you in. She also ensures that the wait is minimized, although you could end up waiting if you get there late.

Service provided:
The clinic has all the usual equipment I’ve seen at a chiropractor. However, this is the first chiropractor who actually works on several body parts to try to resolve as much of the issue in one visit. I’ve seen chiropractors who just work on my neck and tell me to come back again to do my back…….I mean, like WTF?? There are so many rip-offs out there, it just makes Napoli look good. Frankly, he is really good and I was lucky to get away from the prior rip-offs……a couple of which are coincidentally along Coon Rapids Blvd as well….LOL

He also uses the electric stim and doesn’t charge extra for it (I’ve had that happen to me). It helps massage the area to ease the pressure….I’m not a doc, so I could be using the wrong terminology.

Problem resolution:
I’ve gone in for chronic issues with lower back and middle back pain, as well as neck pain.

The neck pain is either stiffness or just because I developed a crick in my neck overnight, sleeping the wrong way. The best thing I’ve done is see him right away, before the neck muscles start tightening up. This is the time when a single visit fixed my problem (this probably constituted a third of my visits).

On other occasions he had to work on my back in several sections, either manually or opening up on different machines. It took a while and I finally got better. My back issues are about 60% better, but they have not been resolved completely. I don’t think it’s a lack of skill/effort on the doctor’s part, I’m starting to realize that back issues are there to stay for a while. I’ve been to see a back surgeon as well, and all the dumbass could tell me was that I had chronic back issues and that I should stretch. Seriously....WTF did the back surgeon charge me an arm and a leg for? Not to mention taking 2 fricking months to get me in to just see him?

Now I usually recommend Dr. Napoli to my friends. I tell them to at least talk to the guy once, to see what he can do. He’s a stand-up guy and tells it like it is. That’s what I appreciate about him.

Overall view:

It’s a small office, which caters to a large clientele. In spite of that, the scheduling is excellent (courtesy Cindy), billing is accurate (again, due to Cindy) and Dr. Napoli actually resolves the issue very effectively. Don’t expect the problem to get resolved in one visit (although that has happened to me as explained above) though. He’s a very genial guy and he actually listens to you before offering half-assed solutions as I’ve seen other chiropractors do. In my opinion, he’s the best chiropractor out there, since he has fixed me up pretty well and I’m speaking from experience.

You should do your own research as well before reaching any conclusions, and I hope my review helps you evaluate a chiropractor that works for you.
