I would highly recommend Dr. Anna Saylor-Wither to anyone who has had a hip and/or shoulder replacement. She specializes in the KST Technique where the doctor uses an adjusting instrument to correct the position of the bones, muscles, and ligaments. This technique has proven to be VERY successful for me and has improved my mobility, balance, and strength. This technique keeps my hips and lower back aligned due to the doctor's order of very specific adjustments. She is compassionate and kind, and takes the time to listen to what the patient has to say. I cannot describe how great my experience with this doctor and her entire staff has been. Many thanks for all the great care!

We heard about Van Every Family Chiropractic Center through our first and very BAD experience with Chiropractic care. Needless to say, we were very skeptical. My son Zia, then 2 years old, was experiencing breathing issues and a consistently runny nose. Zia’s nose ran literally all the time - he was so used to it that it would just stream down his face and didn’t even bother him. My brother suggested Chiropractic could help. We tried another Dr. who claimed she was ‘kid-friendly’. YIKES! That couldn’t have been further from the truth! From the moment when I first talked to Jane at the front desk, I knew Van Every was different. Jane took all the time I needed to answer countless questions I had and assured me that Dr. Saylor has endless experience with children (including have kids of her own). She made me feel confident that they would do their best to help my baby. Jane really showed she cared, in fact my son still looks forward to seeing her each time we visit the office. Zia didn’t talk at all when we started there so having a staff and Dr.’s who understood and could put him at ease was essential. The center itself has a wonderful room geared towards children called the ‘Jungle Room’. My son feels comfortable in the jungle room and he looks forward to each and every visit! He thinks a visit to the Jungle Room is a reward. In the beginning of his treatments we were advised to come in as much as we could and for us that was twice per week. Now at 4 years old, we continue once per month as a maintenance measure. If my son’s nose starts running I know it’s time for an adjustment!! Both Dr.’s Saylor and Vanloon were very helpful in letting us know when to back off his aggressive visit schedule as his symptoms improved over the course of his care. We truly feel like part of the family there. I would never go anywhere else. In fact, I’m a patient now too!

My name is Lauren McMahan I am 13 years old and I live in Hazel Park Michigan. I started coming to Van Every Family Chiropractic Center in Royal Oak for about 3 months. I was born with ADD (attention deficit disorder) and I have been on a medication prescribed by my pediatrician to help. I have been taking this medication since second grade. I am in seventh grade now and hoping to be taken off it. My mom had been seeing Dr. Anna Saylor and Dr. Laura Vanloon and asked my pediatrician about me and my sisters seeing them. Since she said it isn’t needed we did a case study, this takes a scan of our back showing where we need the most help at. Ever since then I have been feeling great! The staff members are always nice and greet you every time you come in for your checkup. Before I went to Van Every I was distracted all the time, my sisters and I fought constantly, and I had a pretty bad attitude toward a lot of things. Now I am doing better in school, my behavior has been improved, and my sisters don’t fight as much anymore. I will have to say it took about a month before noticeable changes started to occur, but it worked. Our family can now have at least one peaceful day in our house, sometimes two if we get lucky. ;) thank you Van Every!

Van Every Chiropractic Center is amazing! The staff always welcomes me with a friendly hello and a smile! Dr. Saylor has allowed me to enjoy simple things in life again with the KST technique she employs. Before seeing Dr. Saylor, i wasn't able to pick up heavy objects or take walks as the pain in my back and neck was too great. Not anymore! I would highly recommend Van Every Chiropractic Center!

Before you baracade yourself indoors this Spring give chiropractic adjustments a try. Dr. Saylor uses a really precise instrument on your sinsuses and can also address ear infection issues. Before you start taking allergy medication or considering tubes in the ears....please give chiropractic a try.

My experience at Van Every Family Chiropractic Center has been excellent. The entire staff works in a professional manner and the services are first-rate. All patients are shown courtesy and respect. I suffered with severe shoulder and neck pain when I first started coming to the office. Since having regular adjustments I have next to no shoulder pain and very little problems with my neck. I have gone from 8 - 12 ibuprofen per day to none. In addition, I have much better flexibility and generally feel so much better. I would tell anybody who is considering chiropractic care that it is certainly worth it. I feel blessed to be in Dr. Saylor's care.

I have been extremely happy with the care we have been receiving at Van Every Chiropractic Center! When I first went in for an adjustment, I had some terrible neck pain. Dr. Saylor used the KST treatment system on me, and within an hour, the pain had mostly subsided. Within a few days I was back to normal. More importantly, I have seen it help my two children, who are 3 and 5. I do not get nervous when they get an adjustment, and they love going to the chiropractor because they get to play in the "jungle room", which is a room designed just for small children receiving adjustments. As you can see, the clinic is very family friendly. I love all of the different festivals that they run through the year. We try to go to them all. The kids have fun, and they walk out with lots of goodies. In fact, at one my daughter won a portable dvd player. All of the staff is fantastic, and make us feel like family. I would recommend Van Every Chiropractic to anyone!

Van Every Chiropractic promotes wellness and a sense of community in a warm, friendly, inviting atmosphere. You are not just another client, you are treated on a personal level by all the staff, including the doctors. Going to the chiropractor becomes a great experience at Van Every!
