Dr. Prebeck is fantastic. I couldn't be happier with the service I receive when I go there. They are so good about helping to work me into the schedule when I'm in pain, and are flexible when I need to change my regular appointments. Dr. Prebeck keeps me pain free and comfortable throughout the year - and has done so for almost 9 years, when I came in with back and hip pain following the birth of my second child. (Carrying an 1 yr old while pregnant with the next really through me out of shape!) Now, he keeps my neck and shoulders pain free, despite the stresses of work, kids and family. I highly recommend Dr. Prebeck for anyone needing a knowledgable, experienced, and friendly chiropractor.

Finding Dr. Prebeck dramatically enhanced the quality of my life, and I will be forever grateful. I suffer from scoliosis and before going to him, experienced daily chronic back pain. Upon reviewing my condition, he was candid that he could not straighten my back but could lessen the curve over time. I was thrilled to know that not only could he prevent further deterioration, he could also improve my circumstances. And that is exactly what has happened! The proof is in the x-rays as well as the increase in the level of activity I can sustain in my life - all pain-free. He is an excellent doctor who is genuine in his caring for his patients and will do whatever he can whenever he can to assist them. I have recommended numerous others to see him, and they have all been just as pleased as I have been.

I've been a patient of Dr. Prebeck for approximately 7 years. I cannot say enough about how much he has helped me and my family. I met Dr. Prebeck after I had already had a huge disc rupture and surgery. When I met him, I could barely even get up off of the adjustment table, and I was in constant pain. Now, I am fully productive and, for the most part, pain free. I don't know what I would have done without him during my two pregnancies. Other than my back, he has also helped me with occasional muscle spasms, sprains, etc. He has also helped me children greatly with their asthma. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr Prebeck has taken excellent care of me for many years. My profession causes much physical strain on my back, arm and shoulder and I see him regularly to be able to maintain the physical demands of my job. I am grateful for the flexibility of his office hours, and his skill and dedication to his patients. I recommend him highly.

I've been going to Durham Chiropractic Center for years and Dr. Prebeck is not only one of the most helpful and caring doctors I've ever had, but he has become a part of our family. Patient and truly concerned with his patients well-being, I've never met a doctor that works as hard to help people. I have severe scoliosis and with Dr. Prebeck's help, have had two babies with NO problems! Through exercises and weekly visits, Dr. Prebeck has kept me and my family healthy - even coming to our home to adjust my husband when he pulled his back out and couldn't get to the office! An amazing doctor AND person!

I work in a healthcare profession where it's common to have musculoskeletal strains and injuries, so I have seen chiropractors and massage therapists off and on for most of my adult life. I've been a patient of Dr. Prebeck for 10 years and would HIGHLY recommend him. I have referred many friends and coworkers to him over the years and have always been thanked by the people I referred. Dr. Prebeck and his staff are caring, kind, responsive, and professional. I'm able to schedule my appointments after work and have always been able to get a same-day appointment when needed.

One particular experience that I had was that I was suffering with high blood pressure and numbness/tingling in my hands and forearms. This made no sense as I had no risk factors for high blood pressure. Dr. Prebeck took an x-ray and recommended an MRI which my physician ordered. We found that the alignment of C1/C2 was out of alignment. After a number of adjustments my blood pressure normalized and my doctor took me off blood pressure medication. About 2 years later my BP went up again. Again, with the proper spinal adjustments my blood pressure normalized and I was able to avoid medication. Dr. Prebeck is not a replacement for my physician, but in this case the pressure on my nerves was causing my high BP. Now with regular maintenance I am feeling good, am able to work without pain and my BP remains normal.

I have been a patient at Durham Chiropractic and Acupuncture Center for 9 years now. I tried 3 other doctors before finding Dr. Prebeck. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive to my needs. He has provided excellent care and spinal maintenance so I can maintain my mobility and reduce pain. I also accepted his acupuncture treatment when nothing else would get rid of my chronic headaches, and was happily surprised when they were literally gone within 20 minutes of treatment! His staff is warm and welcoming, the wait is minimum, they have after-work hours, and are flexible with scheduling and payment plans. I very strongly recommend Dr. Prebeck’s services! – Kathy A.

Definitely! They made an extra effort to keep me well informed.

I went to visit them for extreme back pain. Dr. Prebeck took x-rays and told me that all 5 of my disks were slipped. I have been going to him for over two months and my back only got worse. I decided to go to a Orthopaedic Specialist. The Orthopaedic doctor took x-rays and informed me that my back was in perfect alignment. I had actually pulled my back muscles and Dr. Prebeck was making it worse with the treatment. They ordered me to take two sessions of PT and my back would get better within 4-6 weeks. Saying that I feel taken advantage of is an understatement!! I filled a formal complaint. I do not want to see what happened to me happen to anyone else.
