Chad has been taking care of me since about 2000. He takes the time to really learn his patients and is familiar with their normal chiropractic needs. Often he can just look at me and know how I need to be adjusted to get back to normal; even when my pain or gait abnormality is different from the usual issues with my back. He is a talkative and friendly doctor, not like some of the rather cold, matter-of-fact clinics out there.

Finding a chiropractor can be difficult because it is very much a learned art and the art they practice has a lot to do to the college they attended. For years I went to various chiropractors to my neck and back issues... and got mixed to ok results. Then I was referred to an older Chiropractor that studied at Palmer... this guy really new his stuff and got results fast... none of the namby-pamby "gentle-touch" methods that mainly gives the couch the workout and not the patient. Well, the good doc finally retired and I rejoined the lost world of those searching for the right chiropractor.
This time my back (lumbar) went out late on 12/23... unfortunately all chiropractors were off Fri/Sat/Sun. On Monday, I will still in intense pain and needed help to do any necessities of life... I decided to looked for a different doc... feeling that I could not do worse than my last doc.
After research, I could not find a Palmer graduate in Bedford. Since my last doc had not gone to Parker, thought I would try a Parker grad. I really lucked out. Dr. Clawson is a second generation chiropractor and his father graduated from Palmer... so he has also learned the chiropractic art I love.
Dr. Clawson, asks lots of questions... he loves to talk and it is very evident he loves his job. He is not one of these docs that loads a patient down with numerous extraneous fees that any regular patient knows to be BS. His first time fee is $65. While there, he told me about the Super Tuesday when you can then get the adjustment, roller bed and electo-stimulation... all for $30. Well, I am getting ahead of myself.
The adjustment fared very comparably to old doc I used to have. He worked and worked on me and I didn't feel like he was punching a clock. Bottom line, I walked out unassisted the first day... I was functioning well enough to take care of myself.
On the second day, he adjust me, sent me to the roller table (heaven) and then the electro-stimulator (not fun, but felt much better when through) and then a second adjustment because he was determined to get movement in my hip.
Bottom line, here I am sitting pain free on the second day of knowing Dr. Clawson. In my opinion, he is a rare jewel of a chiropractor and I highly recommend him to anyone that wants to get well fast and does not want to play the standard chiropractor games.
