The problem was not with the pain doctor it was with the clinic dr owner. Dr Bromley who was the pain dr there quit because they refused to give meds to people who had high blood sugar because they were not able to get their costly steroid injections. I know because I’ve seen and been to Two other Of dr Dr Bromleys pain clinics. However I was tossed inevitably out of his last clinic after the new cdc guidelines said we couldn’t drank alcohol. I don’t hardly drink at all. Maybe 1 drink every 6-12 mo. But I was taking care of my mom who I had to clean wounds for and be around things with alcohol all mo. I not only have diabetes but this one time I had a yeast infection. I could even prove it. But I tested positive for one of the two enzymes (the one that really could test Pos from using mouthwash with alcohol) and got the toss. He said he was immune from being shut down because he was on the Tn state board. Maybe he is and treating at a different clinic now. Because the last one he was at is not running anymore either. I know he has another one in Ark. Thought I might go there. But I can’t make a drive like that monthly.

I liked going but quit going cos it got costly driving from Tupelo,Ms on fixed income...where did they go???...I need another Pain Doctor in Memphis Can you provide a good one.

was sent here once as apparently my GP was in violation of these new idiotic rules®ulations.. Get Govt out of medicine!! But now this pain clinic is closing down & are seeing folks one last time.. I wish for once since my feb 2013 stroke that some Dr. any Dr. would prescribe me enough meds.. Many have been too scared to do that others dont care and dont ask questions.. I didnt see others like me when i went and they upped my mg a Whopping 5mg a day..pitiful for a paralysis patient. Stupid new rules need to differentiate between those that truly suffer and those that do not have a serious issue.. Sad Day when folks cant do that!! but with all rx's on computers now it can be done and Gp's and even specialists should begin to go back to treating most of their pain patients. Amazes me that even Neurologists kick the can to another layer of bureaucracy (pain clinics) and the patients pocketbook are lessened due to Govt+Medical.

It wasn't a long wait to see the doctor and I feel that the doctor is very skilled. But when it comes to my pain I know what works and what doesn't. Yeah the Lortab 10 ' s help but I need a plan to function in my everyday life. Then why should I continue to go through the pain of getting the injections in my back when it doesn't last but maybe a day or two. The pain of those injections isn't worth it for those type of results. I asked the doctor if I could opt out of the injections and maybe receive some other procedure to prevent back pain? He (the doctor) stated "If you want these pills you you'll get this procedure" I stated that it's painful and doesn't last.... he then said "Well that's not my concern if you want these pills you'll take the shots be a woman". So at that point my eyes opened up like I had thyroid gland problems. Wtf you mean be a woman? No thank youand I wwalked out. That was the last time I'll ever go inside this place. And I'm filling a complaint with my insurance about his service.
