Bradely Why is thoughtful, considerate, compassionate, and relatable. He takes time to understand children and he understands the medications. He listens and doesn't crank out generic solutions. He might not give the parent what they think they want, but I find he knows what is needed. Medications are tricky. Medications are NOT the total solution. Other interventions are needed at home, such as REAL diet and exercise programs. These are not generic solutions, they are very real and impacting issues that must be addressed BEFORE medication can be effective. The office has a small staff and it does requires effort to pick up the phone and call a couple of times. I hope this is enough deterrent to keep away the do-nothing whiners who want a magic pill while helping the people who truly want to make the effort in their health and are looking for sound advice and excellent care.

I, too, have to completely disagree with the negative comments left by disgruntled patients. I am relatively new to Mr. Why's practice but have been to several other practices in this area for years. I found him to be incredibly compassionate to all of his patients and even going above and beyond to make them feel listened to and cared about. Now, he doesn't put up with shenanigans. I have witness him politely, yet firmly, standing up for his staff when a female patient was being really mean to them. The girls up front take a lot of abuse from people and do a great job at maintaining their cool. I have had to wait sometimes to be seen but that is because Mr. Why gets some patients who are going through something really hard. I have have had some really rough days and he just listened and didn't push me out. I understand people being upset by this but it's a really small practice. Plus, the first time they waived it for me. Bottom line, Mr. Why and his staff are great.

I was highly impressed with their staff. The office is was very busy, during my recent visit and the ladies were extremely helpful and polite to me, the other patients in the office and to anyone who called into the office. I've always had a pleasant experience dealing with Dr. Why's office, whether it was in person, or over the phone. Dr. Why always makes me feel comfortable and I believe he truly listens to my concerns. With all the questions that I always seem to have, Dr. Why and his staff have always been patient and very accommodating, when it came to responding to my inquiries. I would definitely recommend Dr. Why and his practice to anyone seeking a compassionate doctor, who makes their patients feel like they matter.

Reading some of the other reviews I have to completely disagree. I am not one to usually write reviews but when I read the negative one it made me wonder. I have been seeing Mr. Why for 3 years, when he worked in Dover and make drives to his office once a month for medication check in's. I have never had a problem making appointments. I will say that at times the line is busy but I always get a call back if I have had to change my appointments. The staff is friendly and if Mr. Why isn't available, his wife is always there and should probably be a therapist with some of the times she has spent talking to me on the phone! I have never felt talked down to or been rude to by anyone, I will say I have had to wait sometimes for 30 minutes but I think thats cuz he takes more time then anyone else I've seen. I drive from dover cuz its worth it!

Office is extremely hard to get a hold of. Every time I call, no one answers, and if I leave a message I never get a return call. I was involved in a bad car accident a few days before my appointment, and actually did call and cancel the appointment with ample time (I left a message because no one answered of course) and they wanted to charge me $50 for a missed appointment before I could see the doctor again. I know I am not the only one who has had these problems. It sucks, because I like the doctor, I just think the staff is sub-par. It upsets me that a place dealing specifically with people with mental health problems apparently doesn't seem to care whether or not these patients get their medicine that pretty much dictates whether they get to be happy or not, even if these medications are known to cause horrible withdrawal symptoms.

I got an appointment quickly. I've never had to wait too long. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. I found it in minutes. They were by far one of the best I've ever seen in their field. It was obvious that they've been exceeding their clients' expectations for many years. The waiting area here is extremely spacious. They are a small office so occasionally I have waited but never felt rushed during my appointment and feel like my concerns are heard and addressed. Very much appreciated and the front office staff has always been helpful and kind.
