On my first visit to this doctor's office I waited an hour and 45 minutes to see the MD. There was one office staff person, who seemed harried and overworked, even though there was only one MD in this office. On the second visit I was promptly seen.

Although the doctor herself was pleasant enough, I felt I had to pull information from her about how she viewed my condition and the treatment plan. She would answer my questions by talking into her computer while she did electronic charting. She has a lovely Indian accent, but it is thick and hard to understand, which necessitated asking her to repeat herself. If you see this MD, I would advise sitting as close to her as possible and facing her squarely.

This morning I called the Tomball office to let them know I was having transportation problems and would be late for my appointment. There was no answer at the office, so I called the Kingwood office. I was told that "Dr. Palwai is in India due to an emergency." No one had called me with that information. I would have made a 40 mile round-trip to the office to no avail. This was the second appointment in which I was told they would have to reschedule me due to the fact that "the doctor is away on an emergency."

Overall, I have been dissatisfied with the experience.

She was one of the best rheumatologists I've seen. I was very impressed with her level of knowledge and skill. I've always appreciated how quickly the office returned my phone calls and took care of my needs. They usually get back to me the same day. I felt that she was very concerned for my welfare and was thorough in her treatment of my illness.
