In the Fall of 2014 I became very ill. I was having an allergic reaction to something that was attacking my body from the inside. My lungs and sinuses were completely inflamed and I developed a rash over half of my body. It was a very scary moment in my life!

It felt as though I had no control over my body or what was happening to it. It was a struggle to take a breath, I lost my sense of smell and taste. I had severe headaches and continuous coughing, that was so bad I could not even sleep. My Dermatologist told me my stress level was too high and my eczema was flaring up causing the rash. I was not satisfied with that answer, so I had every skin patch test available performed and even had a skin biopsy to check for cancer. The results only showed that I was highly allergic to nickel. After going to several local doctors and having many more tests, I still did not have any answers. At every appointment new medications were prescribed. I felt like a guinea pig!

Since I wasn't improving I went to the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale Arizona. They took over 40 tubes of blood during the 3 weeks I was there. Their diagnosis was Eosinophilia and Sinusitis, with no response to what I was allergic to. They placed me on three different antihistamines, thyroid medication, oral steroids, a steroid inhaler, steroid cream and a steroid nose rinse. Feeling very frustrated and desperate I took every medication they gave me, hoping to feel better. I could not function and was totally exhausted while on the medications and once I completed the oral steroid prescription my symptoms reoccurred. I went back to Mayo Clinic and they suggested that I stay on all of the medications for the rest of my life, which was not a workable solution for me.

Looking for an alternative type of medicine, I went to Dr. Skinner in Farmer City who utilizes Nutritional Response Testing. He found that I was allergic to preservatives and also pesticides. Living in an agricultural community it is difficult to avoid pesticides and preservatives are very common in food, personal care products, ect… However changing my diet and using natural supplements is allowing me to gradually get off the medications Mayo Clinic prescribed. I'm getting closer to being off all of the medications that the Mayo Clinic prescribed. I feel 100% better!

While I was going through all of this my dear friend Shelley Rogers was continuously there for me. Having started using essential oils, she decided to make a natural body butter (skin lotion) to help me find some comfort. Once I started feeling better, I started to experiment with the body butter and I was amazed! It agreed with my body and I fell in love with it! I told Shelley we need to make this natural body butter available to more people. Natural and organic products are so much better for a person than the synthetic chemicals and preservatives found in normal personal care products, household cleaning products, and insect repellant, ect...

We continue to work with pharmaceutical grade pure essential oils, organic and natural ingredients to make various personal care and cleaning products, as they are natural safe alternatives to the chemical-ridden products that are poisoning our lives.
