The office of Dr. Chen and Melissa Short are absolutely wonderful. Only issue is the billing dept. Several attempts to have them separate my 2017 charges from 2018 so I could pay balance with Amer Flex spending. I explained its difference spending accounts since year switched which is why I need separated statements. When I last spoke to Corrine which is who I spoke to every time I called billing dept. she assured me statements would be here when I came in for my appt. today. Papers are not here. Billing dept. should rate very poorly and definitely needs improvement.
Mrs. Short was thorough and made me feel very comfortable. She attentively listened to my wide range of symptoms. I would highly recommend her to anyone who has any type of neuro need.
Experience was great except my appointment was scheduled for 8:15. Upon arrival the receptionist said it was 9:15. I said 8:15 she looked said yes, but doctor would not be in until 9:15. I did not receive any calls concerning time change w/ appointment.
Dr. O'Malley is a very kind and caring Dr. He is very accessible. He listens to your concerns. He has done 2 laminectomies on my back. 1999 L3-L4. Jan '18 L5-S1. Both surgeries were very successful. My sharp shooting pain down my legs is gone. When I developed a staff infection after surgery Dr. O'Malley saw me the same day and operated to clean out the infection the next day Lindsay, his nurse is very caring and gets you an appointment as soon as possible! Thank you, Dr. O'Malley.
I do not know who my actual Dr. is but am satisfied with PA-C- I saw Dr. Holmes originally. It took a while to find the correct meds/treatment for my pain. I do feel like I had to push a bit for alternative meds. Injections did not give relief and I was prescribed Lyrica- which had bad side effects on the Lymphedema (Left arm- resulting from BC surgery)- I felt like Dr. Holmes was not attentive to my pain level- The PA's I saw did push for trying something new. It seemed a bit like- if I wasn't a candidate for surgery he wasn't good at follow up. But Love collina- shes a life saver.
I have been having severe back and leg pain. The doctor recommended a epidural steroid injection. This injection helped the upper back pain immensely, but the leg pain and lower back still has a lot of pain. I do see improvement.
