My husband choose Phil Kirschbaum for couples counseling. We had about 6-7 sessions with him. I assume he saw the extreme distress that I was caused by my husband during our sessions. This continued for about 4 sessions. In the last session I was crying and almost walked out of the session. Dr. Kirschbaum response was, "we will have to visit her concerns soon." He always put my concerns in the back burner. Needless to say that was our last session. I had a COMPLETE meltdown and spent 2 weeks in the hospital. You think a good therapist would have noticed I was on the edge.
