I will say that I saw lisa for a year and she was one of the first counselors that really took a personal interest and that I felt comfortable with but after a year I went in one day and it was like she didn't even know me. As others have said she is constantly distracted and checking her phone. I wouldn't say unprofessional because I love that I could text her to make an appointment but our sessions were very surfacey after a while and there was a lot of judgment involved. I would NOT recommend her to anyone but I will say that when she was good, she was good but it wasn't consistent enough.

Terrible Counselor - she is unprofessional (constantly checking phone during sessions) and appears to lack the skills necessary to be a therapist. I found her to be judgmental. I found it frustrating to speak with her as she likes to talk and not listen. She claims to tell it like it is, but what she actually does is size you up (in my case incorrectly), label you and treats you according to her label. An absolutely horrible experience for me!

Not professional, Never did she once ask how my ex and I could work things out without having to drag it out in court. Instead she was rude and didn't even listen to what I had to say. So discouraging that this is what the court assigns.

She was completely unprofessional and did not appear to understand the importance of what she was hired to do. This was extremely important for childrens visitation and a court case and she completely disregarded the entire process. If she was not capable of handling this, she should have removed herself. She was unreachable by phone/email. . .because of her lack of communication, valuable time was lost and a decision was made without any input from the so-called parent coordinator. So you can imagine how the case was decided. Do not ever use this person for a parent coordinator.

Lisa was very unprofessional and I left with the feeling that she really lacked the education and competence to be effective as a counselor. I would definitely not recommend her to anyone. In my opinion, Lisa was a waste of my time and money.

I got nothing out of our sessions. She was very friendly, but offered little to no advice, I was annoyed that she did not turn her cell phone off . She would take personal phone calls on my dime. And, she would talk about HER problems. She's a nice lady, but I felt like I got more out of talking to my best friend.

I was very disappointed. I have to wonder about Lisa's credentials and experience as she appeared very unprofessional and unable to address the presented problems. She was inappropriate as she spoke more about her son and her own opinions than than I'd expect a competent counselor should. I feel as though I wasted time and money, and I do have to wonder if this profession needs to be more heavily monitored as this counselor definitely needs more training and supervision.
