Deaths doorstep! Horrible bad communicator. My dog went in for a simple kidney stoned procedure. He was 7 months old. Perez even commented on how healthy and active he was for having stones. Perez said procedure was a quick and simple surgery. Never heard from Perez after 4 hours called him and team told me my dog died of a seizure on the table and had a mass. Wait What! It was simple procedure. If he had a mass, why didn't you stop and call me? The vet negligently over medicated him and killed him and never called me. When I went to pick up my dog, they did not even clean him. They just handed him to me in a blanket. I asked about cremation. Perez said they don't do that, but offered to bury my dog in the back. Wow-so empathetic and a warm display of love for animals. HORRIBLE. I should have followed my gut. Please learn from my mistake.

'm not one to post drama on here but pretty angry. Worst vet I ever been too. Was told that it was $95 to do that. I go to leave and was told it was $135. Charged me for a office call. It was during normal hours. Never have been charged that at other locations. He would not reassure me at all if I was doing the right thing. Muzzeled him, which he has never bitten anyone. Shaved both legs because first one he could not find the vein but still poked around. Then went to other leg. Left the room and never saw him again. The nurse was great and reassured me I did the right thing but only when the "Dr" was not there. Called me up because I complained about it which I said I did not want a return call from him. Refused to return the $40 extra he charged which I said was not worried about the money it was more the principal and then hung up on me. Also went to him a year and a half ago because he had a tumor in his lower jaw. He stated it was cancer and to put him down. I asked for antibiotics and pain pills just to see. He never tested anything on my pet. The tumor went away and that was a year and a half ago. Besides the fact he is rude and hard to understand. Lastly if you call there after hours for an emergency it states to leave a message and they will call back, the voicemail is full. Have had other vets in the past before I moved back to Massena and never had any problems. Java Vet in Massena is the name of them. Beware

I love taking my dog there and my dog loves going to Java! Everyone is polite and very accomadating! They have done exactly what they said they would do. I love him getting groomed there, they let me know any concerns they have while grooming him or they take care of it! As far as the doctor.... he is very soft spoken and has got down on the floor with my dog when I walked in the door. The facility is beautiful and has everything to accomadate pets. Getting everything taken care of in one place is awesome! The most important thing is my dog looks Great, feels Great, and he's happy and healthy!

Dr. Wilfredo Perez is obnoxious, disrespectful, and does not care about animals at all! He is on a power trip, and loves to bully the defenseless. Plus he has nonexistent communication skills. If I'm paying thousands of dollars to you to care for my pet, I deserve to understand what you're saying to me. He can barely speak English, and refuses to learn.
