Its bad enough that Dr. R. Nelson performs de clawing procedures but I'll never forget seeing him come out of surgery into the waiting room holding up the claw that he had just yanked from the cat..The whole waiting room looked like they wanted to vomit and he was just laughing..I understand that vets feel obligated to do the procedure if a customer wants it, but they dont have to enjoy it so much especially knowing the permanent pain that it can cause and the problems should the cat get lost or its owner dies.
