Dr. McCartney and his staff are very caring, compassionate and lovely professionals.
His actions truly show that Dr. McCartney became a veterinarian because of his love for animals. He treats both his patients and their owners with TLC and respect!

I went in when I found my cat unable to move one morning. she was having trouble standing i rushed her in right away. the doctor told me she fractured her hip and just needs to rest. after a couple days of her not moving and not eating I called and he told me that he thought it was more of a behavior problem and If i felt she was that hurt i should have brought her back... isn't that what I just paid them for?!! I ended up taking her x ray to 2 different doctors in the area, both said her hip was broken in 3 places, she was then after 3 days with this injury received the pain medications she should have got but was denied by Dr. McCartney. I will never be returning and instead take Sophie to South Atlantic Animal Hospital... its farther of a drive for me. But If I am going to spend money on my animal I want it to be where they are going to truly care for me!
