Dr. Farmer has been taking care of our Ziggy since we moved to Delaware three years ago. Ziggy is so relaxed in Dr. Farmer's expert care, even through a major surgery in 2016; I trust him so much with our little companion.

He may be wonderful to existing customers, the spoiled beach folks who don't care whether the service costs $400 or $4000, but in my experience it was a total ripoff! He claimed to be able to crop my doberman puppy's ears, ran a ton of unnecessary blood work, not even appropriate for a puppy for the most part, and then deemed him unfit for surgery based on the data that's normal for growing puppies as it turned out (one of the tests they ran was a Senior screen, for an 11week old puppy!) I had two other vets look over it because my husband and I really started to worry that there is something wrong with our puppy. Both vets were amazed because they've never seen this much blood work done on a puppy! Needless to say it cost a fortune, for nothing, because the surgery was never done! And the worst part is when I asked the receptionist to let me know how much the the blood work would be, she said she would find out and call me back and never did! Took them a week to call my husband and attempt to explain what's wrong with the puppy, and they did not provide much of an explanation ( obviously, because how can you explain something that was not justified and admit it!)
Dr. Farmer, I only ask, please be honest to your future clients. If you don't want to do a procedure, don't claim to be able to get it done! I ended up wasting my time and and money!

Thank you for the surgery you did on Red my Standard Poodle... she had a Cancer Tumor .. the surgery you did .. was so perfect never seen such a perfect job ..... like that before ... you are a great Kind man to Animals and Humans !!! :-)
I am from McLean VA and I owned a Beach House close to your office and for me to get my dogs (4) to be seen with you .. is .. priceless .. Thank you so much .... Super Vet !!! :-) I am on my way again to take one of my dogs to be seen by you... Driving 3 hrs with Ducky to be seen by you ..this Friday ..... !!! :-)

Dr. Farmer is a kind, caring veterinarian who loves animals and is very gentle in handling them. Their prices were very fair. The level of care you get for the price is outstanding. The waiting room here is spacious. I never feel like I have to sit too close to someone or that it is overcrowded. They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their primary concern is my pet's safety and comfort, and they always take the time to address every concern of mine immediately. I have never seen or heard any pet parent express any complaints in this office, and I was there monthly for several years with a senior cat who had multiple health issues.
